I have been a patient at Arcadian Gardens Surgery for more than 27 years and have always found this Surgery to be very professional and caring. I am very grateful for the care I have been receiving from both Dr Karim and Dr Perera who are very thorough and knowledgeable. They take their time to explain things in detail.
Very happy with the walk in clinic service where you know you will be seen by a Doctor (Dr Karim) on the day.
The Receptionists are very helpful and respectful towards patients.
I would highly recommend this Surgery.
My local GP for many years, reliable and caring staff from the medical professionals to the receptionists.
I also really appreciate the walk in clinic which is now 4 days a week. I have relied on this service from time to time and I am grateful to be able to speak to Doctor Karim face to face about time-sensitive medical issues, some of which would have been difficult to diagnose properly over a virtual call. For example, recently I had a growing bug bite area I was worried about and the doctor could eliminate my worst fears (I was worried it was a tick bite) and let me know how to treat it. On a different occasion, I needed to submit a sample and she was able to test it on the spot and prescribe medication. I hope they can keep up this resource for the community.
The recent renovations have increased the amount of seating in the waiting area. I do wish there was aircon though! But at least waiting times have drastically reduced.
We recently changed our GP and couldn’t be happier with our experience at Arcadian Gardens Medical Centre. Dr. Karim is truly wonderful💫 She was very attentive, took the time to listen carefully to my wife’s concerns, and guided us with great care. Although we initially visited her for a different issue, she kindly reminded my wife about the importance of a Smear test and regular controls and immediately arranged an appointment for the following week. We are very grateful for her professionalism and kindness. So happy to have found such a caring GP!
I had a fantastic experience with the nurse Patricia. She was very caring and professional throughout my treatment, making me feel completely at ease. I also really appreciated how available she was for follow-up care, it made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Highly recommend her expertise!

My name is Aleksander Dhamaj I was in surgery GP on 12/05/2026 I asked for a register letter for me and my wife, because we needed as a proof of universal credit , I was very patient and I was talking very nice whit the staff, I done heart operation two years ago and I have sometimes a bit nervous and stressed. And one of the staff a lady doctor was very rude to me and she said doesn’t care about my health and my operation so I received a letter from they saying I was rude and violent but that not true and I will be happy if they can open the camera and show to the manager that lady doctor which said doesn’t care if I have heart operation
I met with Dr Emma Reeve yesterday for the first time and I am so unbelievably grateful for her kindness, warmth, and help with all of my concerns. I have also had appointments with Dr Karim and Dr Perera in the past and they are wonderful as well. I feel very well looked after at this surgery - thank you so much.
I initially had a frustrating experience at Arcadian Gardens Medical Centre regarding a blood pressure appointment, with a long wait and some miscommunication, and I ended up leaving without being seen.
However, I was later contacted personally by Kosala Perera, who took the time to understand the situation and resolve the issue professionally.
I really appreciate the follow-up and the level of care shown, so I’m updating my rating to reflect this. Thank you for taking it seriously and addressing the concern.
Excellent gp practise was seen by a very knowledgeable Asian Muslim lady doctor sorry I can’t remember your name she was excellent and listened well to my issues and made sure I was ok before letting me go home highly recommended
