I cannot recommend Micki Sund, CNM, highly enough! From the moment I met her, she made me feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. She took the time to listen to every concern without ever making me feel rushed, and her thoroughness gave me so much confidence in the care I received.
Micki explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions with patience, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. It’s rare to find a provider who combines such compassion, knowledge, and attention to detail. She truly goes above and beyond for her patients, and it shows.
If you’re looking for a provider who listens, cares deeply, and provides exceptional care, I wholeheartedly recommend Micki Sund. She is an absolute gem, and I am so grateful to have found her!
Unfortunately, my experience with this OB office has been disappointing. Throughout my pregnancy, my appointments have felt rushed, and I rarely see the same provider twice. It’s been difficult to build a relationship with anyone or feel like I’m receiving personalized care. Another frustration has been trying to get help through the patient portal. Whenever I’ve reached out with concerns or questions, I was often told to go to the ER instead of receiving guidance from the office. It makes me wonder what the purpose of contacting my OB is if the response is almost always to go to the hospital. As a patient, I expected more support and communication from the team.
I was also disappointed by the limited use of ultrasounds during my pregnancy. I still don’t have an estimate of my baby’s weight because each visit mainly consisted of measuring my belly with a tape measure. I understand that fundal height measurements are a standard part of prenatal care, but I expected more information about my baby’s growth, especially when many other expecting mothers receive additional ultrasounds when medically appropriate. I often left appointments with more questions than answers.
Overall, I never felt like my care was personalized or that the providers took the time to truly get to know me as a patient. Pregnancy is a time when reassurance, communication, and trust are incredibly important, and unfortunately, I didn’t feel I received that level of care.
I had a great experience with everyone here, especially with it being my first pregnancy. Micki was my primary midwife and she was wonderful! Great communication, pleasant, caring, and professional. Josie delivered my baby and made me feel in control. She took the time to explain everything without me asking. I never felt judged and she was very encouraging throughout the entire process. Joyce was a delight and made sure all my questions were answered during discharge. My husband and I were very pleased with the care I received and grateful that all my pregnancy concerns were taken serious.
The whole staff is amazing!!! Every time I go, I am welcomed with smiles. I was so nervous about my biopsy today but Dr. Hurtt and her assistant made me feel so comfortable and took time to walk me through procedure. Definitely one of the best obstetrics/ gynecology office.
Dr. Briggs Geier is simply the best Dr, I like that she listens to understand and tries to help as much as she can. She reads the chart carefully before meeting the patient and that makes the visit even more smooth(very different from Dr. Angela Du who is no longer in that office). I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for an OB. I have seen so many people reviewing the front office staff but in all honesty I have never had any issues with them, they are too busy most of the time but checking in is super fast for whenever I go in. I should also add that being so great comes with the downside of not being able to see her until months after. Best OB hands down
Dr. Geier is truly an amazing gynecologist. I have been going to the West Valley Women’s Care for over 17 years, and it has been the best place ever for my care. Dr. Geier is a great listener who always takes the time to hear my concerns. She is incredibly patient, never makes me feel rushed, and genuinely treats me like family. Her compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness make every visit comfortable and reassuring. I am so grateful to have her as my doctor and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional women’s health care.
I recently saw Emily Brenner for the first time and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked into the office the service from the front desk was pleasant. When I met Emily Brenner I noticed she had an excellent bedside manner that immediately made me feel comfortable. She was easy to talk to and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns. It was clear that she genuinely cares about her patients. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and knowledgable care.
During My Pregnancies, I Loved This Facility. However, I Have Been On A Hold For TWO Hours To Schedule An Appointment. After Hitting The 2hr 2min Mark, I Was Instructed That They Are Closed And On Lunch. I Understand Things Are Busy But I Was #4 In Queue With An Estimated Wait Time Of 24 Minutes. I Just Want To Schedule An Appointment And Cant Schedule The Procedure Online Or Through The Automated System. Absolutely Ridiculous.
