This was the best outpatient major surgery I've had anywhere. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, caring. Called several times after I had been discharged to check on progress. My husband and I were kept informed of every step of the procedure. Now Iunderstand the reason this outpatient surgical center is ranked higher than other local centers.

Had Cataract surgery 2 weeks apart. I've never had surgery before this. Both visits I was well cared for. All staff were attentive and caring, made you as comfortable as possible. I went 12 hours without water or food, so after surgery they asked what I wanted to drink I said everything you have. The discharge nurse came back with a juice, ice water, coffee and Pepsi and double snacks. That was great! Highly recommend day surgery!

blood draw was good. Registration went smoothly. I wish the bathrooms were more handicapped. The Bathroom by blood draw has bars good but toilet too short hard to get off. Main bathroom door is too close for wheelchair access and getting around the bathroom is difficult to handicap bathroom. (Maybe a separate bathroom just for handicapped and can have room for someone to help if needed.. Like at rest stops on the road. Also some of the wheel chairs do not lock. Need new ones or get the others fixed. Thank you

I had an operation on May 14, 2026. I went home the following day, but it was the usual pain and discomfort associated with an operation. I just have to acknowledge the nursing staff at Hinsdale Hospital. Yes, the doctors who where there working on me were great , but after that, it was the wonderful nurses of H.H. who brought me back to the ability to go home the next day. They (the nurses) were there thru every second of my pain discomfort and my inability to, pretty much, do anything for myself. They are a very caring group of individuals who perform there duties without hesitation for dozens of people, like myself, who I’m sure are very grateful and thankful for all of them. And there was one special person who worked the night shift and made sure I wasn’t left uncared for, who made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you to all those wonderful nurses at Hinsdale Hospital from me.

Nursing staff, care attendants, PT, OT, lab we're all fantastic. I was really disappointed in the care management team. They did not come to speak with me/husband despite multiple requests. They did not check into subacute placement at places we requested--Very poor communication from the folks who were supposed to bring this whole experience together. Lesson learned- be aggressive with care management requests.

Dr. Wardell and Staff at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth La Grange took excellent care of me from start to finish. They explain everything to me what to expect after surgery. I recommend them and I will have my next knee replacement in the future.

The staff at the ultrasound on Ground floor were exceptionally kind & helpful! Their freindly gesture & guiding me, especially when it was time to leave,my exit was closer to my door because the young lady gave me awesome directions. Ive always loved this hospital and continue coming here.

I’ve accompanied my husband to various hospitals around the metro area and have never felt the need to write a review until now. He had one total knee replacement and a repair in the other, so the anxiety was high and so was the level of care equally balanced. From the pre-op nurse, who eased his fear to the amazing surgeon and staff, to all the staff post operation, I’d like to say thank you!
