My son (11) sprained his ankle in a football game. We came here for medical assistance. He was crying and in pain. I know urgent care centers don’t really do much in terms of medical treatment, but it’s a starting point. I also acknowledge most medical offices take a long time to receive care. We arrived to no vehicles in the parking lot (no customers/patients). Long story short, after an hour of my son crying with no assistance, I put him back in a wheel chair and rolled him out towards the front door. I noticed the people working behind the counter were just hanging out, talking, etc. I don’t blame them, there were no customers in there. I told them my son is still in there crying from the pain and I have to find him anyone that will provide medical assistance. They had no reaction. They did not care. They were almost happy to see us leave. Less work for them to do. The people behind the counter offered no apology or explanation. They could have told us when we checked in that the wait time would be much longer than an hour. But they were not interested in assisting an 11 year old child in pain. Who does that? Who has no compassion or empathy for an 11 year old child in tears? What mental handicap do these people have to not notify the parent at check in that even though there are no customers, the wait time will still be well over an hour? Maybe the doctor wasn’t even in the building. Who knows? These people showed no empathy or compassion, and no professionalism whatsoever. Honestly, I’m glad my son didn’t receive care here. They didn’t seem very intelligent. The only interest they had was their wheel chair. They wanted to make sure I wasn’t leaving with their wheel chair. The standard of “medical employees” at this particular urgent care is extremely low. These are horrible, useless people and should find employment in a different industry. They are, in no way, fit for employment in the medical field.

Amazing service from everybody here at Texas MedClinic! From the second we came in, we felt very welcomed and safe by Rozita and Tiffany. Came in stressed and scared because my Wife accidentally sliced her thumb open with a kitchen knife, and Dr. Shaun Johnson had us leaving with big smiles on our faces! Moved here from Sweden 2 years ago, and this clinic makes even Swedish healthcare look like amateurs! Dr. Johnson was very skilled and made us both feel safe throughout the entire process. Never In my life have I had a better experience going to the doctors.

I recently visited this Texas MedClinic location and would rate my experience a 2/10 overall. While the doctor I saw was very professional and had excellent bedside manner, several other parts of my visit were frustrating and concerning. During intake, my blood pressure was taken multiple times. It’s possible this was done intentionally (for example, to check readings in different positions), but no explanation was given at any point. The staff member taking my vitals also seemed unsure of herself, which made the process feel confusing and uncomfortable. The first time, the blood pressure cuff and heart rate monitor were placed on the same arm/finger. Later, it was repeated while I was lying down, then again while sitting, and finally while standing, but without any communication about why this was necessary. The most concerning part of my visit was the IV placement. The staff member attempting to start my IV had difficulty inserting the needle, and blood spilled during the attempt. He tried again without success, which was uncomfortable and stressful. Another staff member was then brought in, and she was able to successfully start the IV on my other arm. Additionally, when we first arrived, we were required to complete digital sign-in paperwork while I was actively vomiting, which was difficult and inconvenient. After finishing the paperwork, we waited about 15 minutes before being seen. On a positive note, the doctor was kind, professional, and communicated clearly, which I truly appreciated. However, the intake process and IV experience significantly impacted my overall impression of this visit. I hope this feedback helps improve communication with patients and staff confidence during procedures.

We arrived around 8PM with our 2-year-old who had fallen, was bleeding from her gums/mouth and we were unsure if she had hit her head. As any parent would be, we were concerned and wanted her evaluated and at the time, this was the closest center open to us and nearby. We were told they would not see her because we have TRICARE. We explained we were willing to self-pay, but were still refused. No one stepped out to visually assess her or check that she was stable before turning us away. As an active duty military family new to the area, this was especially disappointing. We understand urgent care clinics have limitations, and if the recommendation was to go to the ER, that would have been completely reasonable. However, refusing to even briefly assess a bleeding toddler solely due to insurance showed little concern for our child. Whether it is policy or not, ethically, there should have been at least a basic assessment to ensure she was stable before sending us back out into the night. We ultimately had to travel to a hospital for care. Parents should be aware that the insurance type may prevent evaluation here, even in situations involving active bleeding and possible head injury. Also, they seem to lack compassion, or seemed genuinely concerned about a actively bleeding toddler. Would not recommend.

This was my husband's second visit in the past 6 months. Both appointments were following other doctor visits, and being misdiagnosed. This clinic is awesome The people here are awesome. Both times on my visits I was treated properly and medicated properly the proper diagnosis. Highly recommend this place

I understand having to fill out paperwork to be seen, but for a fallow up it's ridiculous. Same information, like the one we gave before was for nothing. This is completely unnecessary for a fallow up. It's like we've never been here before. The staff is friendly and nice. They are helpful and answered all our questions. Personally, I've been to other better streamlined clinics with less hassles, and prefer to go somewhere else. Update: We had to go back again for another follow up and this time there was very little paperwork. I love it when owners/Manager listen to their customers. So 5 stars well deserved. Thank you. 👏👍

Thank you to everyone here today from the beginning process to when it was time for me to leave!! Everyone was great to talk to and I was very well informed by the staff.. Personnel were kind and courteous. I went in for pain on left side for neck. Hot pack and Tylenol were given at the Clinic and pain went away for a few hours. I was asked to use Regular Tylenol which I didn’t find any boxes at store that said “Regular” so I picked one that read Tylenol for muscle pain but when I got home and googled it was too strong so I didn’t use it. I used the heating pad but it only helped while I was using it. I am still in a lot of pain. Can’t use strong Tylenol for I take Warfarin. Will wait for morning to try to find right Tylenol. Pain is still there and nothing has changed.
