The surgery center at TSAOG is the best one I’ve ever experienced. The wait time was not long. They called me back and got me ready for surgery. The nurse started the IV easily with no pain. All along they all explained what to expect and were very attentive. My surgery performed by Dr. Bell, went well. Dr. Bell, spent time with me before the surgery to put me at ease and answer all my questions.
Dr. Dobson, the anesthesiologist, came in to my pre-op room, and told me everything to expect, and how long the block would last. He acknowledged my past experience with nausea, and addressed the problem with the correct meds. I highly recommend this very personable doctor.
Both my husband and I have been through shoulder surgery before, and there’s no comparison between Dr. Bell, and our past surgeon, Eddie Garcia, Dr.Bell is kind and compassionate. He is an excellent surgeon, but most importantly, he ‘s empathetic, and truly cares about his patients.

I was experiencing some shoulder pain and went to see Dr Hartzler, who is associated with TSAOG. It was very easy to book an appointment. When I arrived, I was called back at my appointment time, the staff was very courteous and professional. Dr Hartzler or his PA, Jose Sigala, examined me and requested x-rays and an MRI. After reviewing the scan results, Dr Hartzler was very good about discussing the treatment options and answered all of my questions. I opted to have surgery and it was easily scheduled by Deirdra on his staff. On the day of my surgery, the staff took very good care of me. Dr. Hartzler did a follow-up call that evening to see how I was doing, and his staff scheduled my follow-up appointment.
I would recommend Dr Hartzler for any of your surgical needs ranging in the areas of his expertise. He has excellent patient care and bedside management techniques. He also has some videos for any of the follow-up care that he may prescribe, making this approach and rehab steps easy, viewable, and understandable.
I hope the next time you're looking for a surgeon to do some kind of shoulder or elbow surgery that you consider Dr. Hartzler and I hope your experience is as good as mine are better.
I originally went in to see Dr Reinhart for a broken clavicle. After images he recommended surgery but humbly referred me to Dr Gates stating he is better suited for this specific surgery. Dr Gates made me feel at ease with the diagnosis, prognosis and steps to take. Seeing my level of discomfort he said he would try to get me in ASAP, and miraculously squeezed me in next day. The procedure was very well scheduled and timely. Dr Gates performed the procedure with precision and his subsequent follow up the next day was caring, genuine and thorough. His procedural notes are next level service, very detailed on each step and very much appreciated by my curious mind. I can't recommended Dr Gates enough, I was thoroughly impressed.

I had surgery with Dr Balldin on July 9th 2026 to repair my rotator cuff, labrum, biceps tenodesis, and removal of bone from my acromium. He has been great throughout the whole process leading up to surgery. He’s attentively listened to all my questions and concerns, he addressed them thoroughly with care and consideration. His staff is just as if not more exceptional. They are easy to reach via phone and email, always responding in a very timely manner, they’ve been extremely patient and caring when I speak with them. Amanda(surgical coordinator) has been extremely kind and helpful along the way. I will not hesitate even a second to call Dr Balldin and his staff should I ever need an ortho surgeon again. I would highly recommend Dr Balldin for any of your orthopedic needs!
Dr Nauert always spends time listening to me first, then spends the time necessary to inform me on all the details, never once rushing and has always treated me as if I'm his only patient. When I've done my part and checked in online, once at his office for my appointment, I go to the back super quick and see him surprising fast as well.
I'm 29 hours post surgery. I've had a few surgeries in the past and Dr Neuart is 2nd to none. His staff, especially Mrs Alex, is absolutely amazing and so very helpful. I'm starting PT soon so I'll have another update soon...
So far, I highly recommend Dr Nauert and his staff.
I have been so impressed with TSAOG in general. Having now been to three locations, I can say their employee support seems to be better than most businesses. The attention to detail in the decor as well as the cleanliness of the buildings is top tier. I cannot stand going to a doctors office and seeing dirt built up in the corners and scuffs on doors. There’s none of that here. Moving onto why I was there in the first place. The doctors that assessed me were professional and advised me of all my options while still giving me the autonomy to choose the best option for myself. Dr. Brenman especially was such a cool guy. As a doctor he was especially personable and explained things in layman’s terms. He was very knowledgeable about the specific pains I was experiencing whereas the other doctor I saw didn’t seem quite as versed, but that’s also why doctors have specialties so no issues with that. Overall I’m incredibly pleased and grateful for the care I received.
Dr Naugher is absolutely the best. I had TKR 4 years ago and 3 years ago rotator cuff surgery with him. I am having my second knee replacement with him in a few weeks. He is excellent and I have complete confidence in him and his staff!
Dr. Tucker finally helped me find out what was going on with my knee and explained my options to start feeling better. He didn’t hesitate to explain each option and helped me find what right for me. Even before surgery he came and made sure I knew what was going to happen. Thank you Dr. Tucker for helping me!
