I came in to get my broken wrist checked out. I originally went to the E.R when I hurt myself and got no helpful information. I was very nervous and apprehensive coming into this office, but extremely grateful that I did. From the people at the front desk to the nurses and Doctors, everyone was SO kind and welcoming. I was seen by Doctor Stephen Gates. I highly recommend being seen by him, or any orthopedic doctor here. The level of professionalism extends to such a personable experience. They show so much compassion and answer every and any question you may have. I can't say I'm excited for my next fracture, but knowing I will always be in good hands with them gives me so much peace of mind. I hope my review helps anyone who's in search of Orthopedic care. I am truly grateful for the staff and the care I received here. Picture is the day I got my cast put on and the video is today getting it removed
I went in for left knee full replacement Feb 23rd. Dr Travis Burns and Christus Santa Rosa in Alamo Heights made me feel like they rolled out the red carpet for me. The surgery went off without a hitch, and the care at the hospital was amazing. My meds stayed ahead of the pain, and within the first day I was able to walk around the nurses station within hours of the operation. The food and constant service at the hospital was simply amazing and was in a class all its own!
Everyone involved at the hospital, and all of Dr Burns’ staff (PA Coffer, Cruz, Allison, and the wonderful receptionists) did an amazing job taking care of me and my wife throughout the process to ease our fears and address every concern we brought up. I fully recommend them to anyone and will be seeing them again for the second knee replacement as soon as I am physically able to proceed. (Some pics provided were for comic effect!)

I had a visit with Dr. Noche last week and he was prompt and thorough. Nice bedside manner and personality. The office was very clean and techs who did my x-rays had me in and out quickly. Everyone in general were nice. Made my visit a good experience. Thank you all.
Great staff! I felt so comfortable upon checking in and being admitted, everyone answered my questions and gave me great care. I would like to appreciate my anesthesia team, nurses, PCA’s the doctors and most importantly my surgeon Travis Burns for giving me the best first surgical experience.
My experience with Dr.Sarfani was just the worse I had I went in because I had a sports injury and I told her it was a coalition and she said she was going to shave off a bit of bone in surgery but after the surgery was done I was still feeling severe pain in my foot and I went for a second opinion and the doctor told me that Dr.Sarifani took a big chunk of my bone and left bone fragments which caused me to have arthritis and cyst In my foot and she was trying to refer me to a psychiatrist doctor saying the pain was still in my head
ALL of staff were very personal, friendly and helpful with great attitudes. The office was very clean and staff was very knowledgeable. DR. MATTHEW MURRAY and his team was very thorough while educating us on the entire process from start to finish concerning the surgery .When I left the office I was at peace and feeling very confident . I'm so glad I found him. The doctor and his entire team bedside manners were impeccable . I will definitely be recommending this facility and doctor for sure to other .Thank you so much I really appreciate it. I'm in awe because I have not experienced customer service like this since 2019 I thought it was all in the past .I will say to you Dr. Murray your team speaks highly of you and they represent your group of doctors very well I'm super impressed. Dr Covington is an amazing doctor, surgeon, cheerleader, and honest, straight-talker who knows his field. After stepping over a short yard edging, I fell and ended up breaking my humerus near my shoulder. After getting home from the ER, Dr Covington’s office called in a day or two and I made an appointment to see him. After X-rays, he explained my problem and recommended surgery after swelling went down. Arrangements were made, surgery went well, and I had follow-up appointments.
I wore a sling for about 3 months. Pain was manageable. Dr Covington continued to follow-up and referred me to physical therapy. Everything was/is progressing nicely. Then I was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and that took over.
My visits with Dr Covington were always good, full of encouragement and concern. The next time I break a bone, or someone needs an excellent orthopedic surgeon, I will definitely recommend him.
His X-ray nurse was excellent, too! See my “hairbrush” after Dr Covington connected my arm to my shoulder.
