Hard to believe I’ve been going to Smile Science for almost 5 years! I do not like fillings or procedures (except for cleanungs), so naturally, I was so nervous going to a new dentist, who had to break the news to me I needed some work done. Dr. Urda was so transparent, kind and patient and made me feel as comfortable as possible through it. Dr. Urda has built such an incredible business with a culture centered around their patients. It’s so clean, state of the art technology, and I love what they’ve done with the new building on Milwaukee. Everyone is so friendly from checking in for appts to checking out with billing. I have the utmost trust in the staff with my dental hygiene and care! Special shout out to Mari, who I book cleanings with. I always look forward to seeing and catching up with her. She does a great deep clean and always judgement free 🙂 I’d highly recommend anyone considering to give Smile Science a try!
It was my first visit to this clinic, and my first impression is super positive: the staff and doctors are very friendly , professional, caring and focused on saving my teeth rather than finding ways to make more money by extracting whatever is possible and telling that I will need implants! This clinic is transparent, very thorough in diagnostics, and they are interested in what’s the best for the patient! Highly recommend!
As someone new to the Chicago area, I was searching for a dental office and came across Smile Science, which was highly recommended and well-rated.
The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to my initial interaction with the young lady at the front desk. Unfortunately, her customer service toward me felt somewhat off-putting. However, I am very glad I chose to stay for my appointment.
My experience quickly improved thanks to Dr. Urda and the dental hygienist, who were both professional, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The staff members I interacted with were welcoming and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.
Overall, I had a positive experience and look forward to becoming part of the Smile Science family.
Dr. Joe and the Smile Science team are outstanding. After a scooter accident left me with four cracked front teeth, I needed four crowns and spent several months in treatment from January–May 2026.
Dr. Joe made sure everything was completed in time for my June 2026 wedding, and went above and beyond to create a smile that exceeded my expectations. The results are incredible!

I found the staff to all be super friendly and to do a great job of explaining things throughout your exam. They don’t seem to sell you on things you don’t need, and the prices for the procedures are pretty reasonable. Definitely the best dentist office I’ve ever been to!
Smile Science is absolutely amazing. Wonderful service- from the front desk, to dental hygienists and dentists. Everyone makes you feel very welcome, at ease and goes the extra mile to ensure everything goes smoothly- insurance coverage, appointment availability, services and more. Dr Urda is wonderful- super professional, personable and amazing at her job. I am so appreciative to Dr Urda and everyone at Smile Science!!
I had a great experience with Andy. He is a very good at his job who really cares about his patience. He was professional, patient, and made me feel comfortable during the whole visit. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood the treatment. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy Hygienist
I came to Smile Science after avoiding the dentist due to anxiety/trauma from previous bad experiences, and after biting the bullet I only wish I would've come sooner. The entire staff is welcoming, Mari is an AMAZING hygienist who made me feel so comfortable, and Dr. Urda is so knowledgeable, kind, and non-judgmental. Care plans, insurance, and costs are explained super clearly. Overall, a 10/10 experience and this is definitely where I'll be going for all of my dental care from here on out.
