Had a great experience at my recent eye doctor appointment. The staff was friendly, professional, and very attentive from start to finish. They made me feel comfortable and took the time to explain everything clearly. I truly appreciate their excellent customer service and care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lahijani, Dr. Fan, and their clinical staff are the best! They are always professional, welcoming and attentive to my needs/concerns. They specialize in all ages especially children's opthalmology. Conveniently located off the 101 at Alvarado; minutes from DTLA, Silverlake, Echo Park, East Hollywood, Larchmont, Westlake/Hancock Park. There is plenty of underground parking with an attendant (FYI: there is no validation and attendant only accepts cash upon exit). They have a good selection of name-brand (Armani, M Cors, DKNY, Adidas, Ray Ban, Hello Kitty, etc) and generic frames in their bright and spacious waiting area.

Dr Lahajani and her staff have always been exemplary with their service, care and recommendations. As much as I want to gatekeep this provider, Dr. Lahajani and her team are client-focused and you will feel like family!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Hollywood Optometry. Dr. Shermin Lahijani, O.D. was absolutely exceptional—warm, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and truly attentive. She explained everything in detail, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire exam. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in providing outstanding care. This was one of the best optometry visits I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Lahijani and Hollywood Optometry to anyone looking for top-tier eye care.

Dr. Shermin Lahijani is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and reassuring. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes you feel completely at ease. The staff is equally wonderful — kind, professional, and very well organized. An excellent experience all around.

At first, I was concerned that they might not have an interpreter available, and consequently, that they wouldn't understand what I was saying. However—quite honestly—their service turned out to be absolutely wonderful; they understood everything I said and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction and happiness.

My dad and I had an amazing experience at Hollywood Optometrist on Beverly Blvd! Both doctors were extremely professional, patient, and thorough during my eye exam. They explained everything clearly and made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit. A huge thank you as well to the staff — especially the young woman who fixed my glasses (for the second time!) and didn’t even charge me for it. That level of kindness and customer care is rare and truly appreciated.💙 The entire team here is friendly, efficient, and genuinely cares about their patients. I highly recommend Hollywood Optometrist to anyone looking for excellent eye care!

I’ve been wearing contact lens for more than a decade and never had a doctor prescribed me with a wrong prescription measurements and left with a year worth of contact lens that I didn’t order! Upon having the eye exam done at Dr Lahijani’s office, they made a typo ordering contact lens. I only noticed after receiving the lens in the mail. I called the office five times to report the issue, every time, I was told, “we will check with the optometrist and call you back” and never received any calls. I’ve been wearing the wrong contact lens since then because I don’t have any other ones. I never post bad reviews but for this one, I am very disappointed because of their mistake and lack of integrity.
