Dr. Hura took time to answer all of my questions and when I was approved for LASIK at the evaluation, they were able to perform the surgery the same day so I wouldn’t have to worry about the anticipation anymore. My eyes are still dry which is normal, I use my drops a few times a day, and the bruising from the suction ring is almost completely gone. I had a professional photoshoot 2 weeks out :) I didn’t have to reschedule my shoot because my eyes healed so well. At my 1 week post op, my regular eye doctor said I was healing amazingly. I trusted Dr. Hura because he has said he turns patients away if they aren’t good candidates, which is very trustworthy in preventing long term vision and comfort problems. Very happy with the money spent and that I won’t have to bother with glasses or contacts for the next 10ish years before I need readers.

What a difference clearer vision is, how I wish I had done this much sooner. I waited close to a year to finally make up my mind to have this procedure. Research upon research and a deteriorating eyesight with worsening cataract formation was the final blow. But I’m glad the long research landed on the most beautiful experience under the hands of Dr Neda Shamie who I cannot thank enough for this renewed vision.
Just two days after the first eye surgery the clarity is unbelievable, I can appreciate everything better! The flowers around are more vibrant, the shows on TV gets more exciting to watch, even the food seems to be tastier and more delicious!

Respectful, attentive, and professional, Dr. Shamie and her staff guided me through a difficult recovery. I developed a rare toxic reaction to the postoperative eye drops, and I needed the right lens replaced.

Dr Shamie operated on my wife's eyes and from beginning to end, she and her staff were professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I went to Dr. Hura for a Lasik consultation. His team was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They efficiently put me through the tests and measurements needed for the consultation. My name is Theresa. I had my first cataract surgery on March 17 and my second cataract surgery on March 19. I had the most amazing surgeon Dr. Neda Shamie. She was very caring and professional. Everyone at the surgical center also were very kind and concerned. The surgery went very well and after my first visit back at Dr. Shamie`s office, my eye site for reading was 20/20. .
