I have had both of my hips replaced and one revision. I am finishing up all of my testing and paperwork for a knee replacement next month.
Dr. HARRIS and PA JIM SEESHOLTZ have taken care of me so well I would never consider going anywhere else.
Add on to that, they have a most excellent staff supporting them. When you have to deal with multiple doctors there is always something that needs to be handled.
The whole staff of ladies have been awesome! Thanks to Tammie, Donna and Clarissa for making it so much better. I'm sure I've missed someone, but know in my heart that I appreciate each and every one of you.

There really aren't words to completely describe the positive experience I had at SAOS. It's a feeling — honestly, a feeling of euphoria — being treated with a level of care that goes above and beyond what you'd expect from a physician. Dr. Broome and Madeline walk the talk. They don't just provide care, they create an experience.
I am two months out from a total knee replacement. I want to add to the many outstanding reviews other patients have already submitted — those reviews are the reason I scheduled my appointment with SAOS. I had my first appointment with Dr. Broome in December 2025.
Words cannot express how blessed I feel to have had Dr. Broome, Madeline Kremer (PA-C), and the rest of the SAOS team providing my care. Every patient is treated as an individual — you never feel like you're being run through a factory. They are genuine, through and through.
As their website states, they offer unparalleled concierge service — and I can confirm that's exactly right. They also say they treat the patient, not the X-ray, and that's true too.
Dr. Broome and Madeline are an incredible surgeon/assistant surgeon team, and that held true at every stage — general appointments, pre-surgery, and post-surgery. At every visit, they were thorough. They listened, asked questions, and explained the components of the knee and surrounding tissues, muscles, and ligaments, along with what was actually going on. I had stage 4 osteoarthritis.
My experience with the entire staff at SAOS has been exceptional. Every patient is treated as a person, not a number. From the front office to the back, the staff works as a team, and that teamwork carries over into every interaction you have as a patient. There's a dynamic to the care at SAOS that I haven't seen at any other doctor's or specialist's office.
SAOS is also a patient-friendly practice — you're not stuck talking to an automated AI voice just to make an appointment or ask a question.
If you're dealing with knee, hip, or shoulder problems, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not scheduling an appointment with SAOS. To put it bluntly, I would travel from anywhere to have my surgery performed by this team.
I cannot express enough positive things about Dr. Broome and the entire team at San Antonio Orthopedic Specialists. From start to finish, their care, professionalism, and compassion were truly outstanding. Within just three days of first contacting the office, I was already speaking directly with Dr. Broome. Communication was clear, expectations were well explained, and I felt confident and at ease every step of the way.
One of the most meaningful aspects of my experience was Dr. Broome’s bold faith in Christ. Praying with me before surgery was an incredible blessing, bringing me a level of comfort and trust that is rare in today’s medical world.
My hip replacement surgery went extremely well, and my recovery has exceeded my expectations. For the first time in five years, I am sleeping through the night without a sleep aid and pain medication. That alone has been life-changing.
I would absolutely travel from Arizona to Texas again for future surgeries without hesitation. If you are considering orthopedic care, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Broome and his amazing team. He is not only an exceptional surgeon but also a genuinely caring and faith-driven physician.
Dr. Broome has been the best decision I’ve ever made. My only regret was waiting so long to get a second opinion or he could have helped me sooner.
After total hip replacement, I was up and walking within 3 hours of surgery. I used a walker for the first week and haven’t looked back since. My wife and I just returned from a 9 day Caribbean cruise and I have no limitations.

Im no doctor but I was a little disappointed when they told me There was nothing they could do for me Because my condition wasn't serious enough. Even though x-rays showed my Arthritis had pretty well had the bones rubbing on each other on my knee, but I told him there was minimal pain. The doctor said I can't run any more. And I just have to wait till it gets worse. I thought maybe they could give me a shot or something. He just recommended an exercise regimen.
I got good feed back on a problem with my hip that was done bye a different Dr. We are doing a few thing to see what Dr. Harris can do to help me. Thank you. He referred me to Dr. Broome. He has done an amazing job to help me out. My hip has improved a lot to make my life so much better. He is a great Dr. I will and would recommend him to everyone. Thank you.
It’s been 1 year since my full hip replacement and I feel great! I’m still able to enjoy the outdoors with no running, I do everything that I enjoy! Thank you so much Dr. Broome for giving me back my life to enjoy the great outdoors with my family 💙
My appointment with Dr. Harris was a great experience. Everything was explained in great detail about the surgery I would be having for total hip replacement. A video was also provided, as well, that gave more detail about the whole experience. The office staff were very helpful and kind. It is definitely a very well organized and happy work place!
I want to add to my review, the great experience I have had working with Dr. Harris’s PA, James Seesholtz. He is an invaluable part of a patience’s care. You will see him before your surgery and during your recovery period as well. He is extremely knowledgeable and always returned my calls! You will be very happy with Dr. Harris and his entire team‼️
