If I could put 10 stars I would, my labor and delivery experience at St. Mary’s was the best experience I could’ve imagine! Everyone was so kind, attentive, caring, and loving towards not only me but my baby and my family. They took the time to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, and loved on from the day I came in for emergency preeclampsia concerns, and when I had to come in and have an unexpected c-section. I wasn’t even a patient there but they were more than willing to take me in. The nursing staff was the best part, each one was so so nice, I can’t say enough good things about my experience. 10/10 c section experience as someone who’s never had a surgery. We are so thankful we ended up at St. Mary’s
A visit to the ER late at night is never some things that you really want to engage with. However, the staff at St. Mary’s was incredibly warm, kind and welcoming. They noted the urgency in which I needed to be seen in properly. Ordered the steps surrounding what I needed. I was able to be seen Fairly quickly and received the kind of medical care that I needed for the back pain that I was experiencing. I’m very happy with the results from the orderly to the nurse practitioner to the intake specialist. Everyone was so kind. Thank you.
This was the second time that I was Admitted to Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital for Emergency Care! I actually Requested to be Admitted to Saints Mary Elizabeth Hospital for the Second time because of the Excellent Care that was Provided to me each stay! The Doctors are Professionals when it comes to your Medical Care! The Nurses are Highly Alertive an Determined to take care of there Patients! I really Appreciate that! I have no Complaints what's so ever for my overall Care from Saint Mary! Thanks!
My experience at this hospital has been very good. The staff is very kind and professional, especially in the labor and delivery department. I had my baby in October 2025, and the doctors and nurses were very attentive, caring, and supportive throughout the entire process. I am very grateful for that. The facilities and rooms are always very clean and well maintained.
If you are considering having your baby here, I would definitely recommend this hospital based on my experience.💛
My experience with Dr. Adnan Ansari was extremely disappointing.
I came to the hospital with documented medical conditions, including Ankylosing Spondylitis, a history of open-heart surgery, anxiety, and chronic pain that is actively managed by my primary care physician and specialists. I had previously been treated at this same hospital for similar issues and was treated with professionalism and respect.
During this visit, however, I felt that Dr. Ansari dismissed my pain concerns and treated me as though I was exaggerating my symptoms or seeking medication rather than seeking legitimate medical care. I was particularly troubled by references to possible pain-seeking behavior despite my extensive medical history and established treatment records.
I spent a significant amount of time discussing my condition, yet many of my questions were left unanswered, and I left feeling unheard and judged rather than cared for. The overall communication was poor, and I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously.
As a patient with documented chronic illnesses, I expect to be evaluated fairly and respectfully. Unfortunately, this was one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I have had. I hope the hospital reviews patient concerns carefully so that future patients feel listened to and treated with the dignity they deserve. Then Now waiting to het Transferred when he stated they do TEE for heart & there so understaff & I understand why now there’s strikes going on with there Nurses & there really understaff & I highly recommend anyone to find a better place preferably Rush Or Honestly John Stroger is so much better than here or Lutheran General. Dr Ansari Such an awful and uncared person and Just to always let you know you are studying medicine and practicing you not an actual knowledge doctor, I hope you know it’s called “Practice” Your Opinion Vs The Truth.
Despite the many negative comments about St. Mary’s Hospital, I want to share my personal experience. My dad was admitted there twice this year, and both times he received excellent care.
The nurses were incredibly kind, attentive, and compassionate. During his most recent stay, he was especially well cared for by the staff on the 10th floor, Amanda, Kathleen, and Jenny truly stood out. They were not only professional but also warm, sweet, and genuinely caring.
My dad was there for quite some time, and throughout his stay, I could see that he was in good hands. The staff was always pleasant with me, kept me informed whenever I called or visited, and made sure I understood everything about his care. Thank you for taking care of my dad
I just returned from 3 days/2 nights at this hospital.
The nurses and assistants are AMAZING. They are very kind, caring, nice and they listen to their patients. My stay was great EXCEPT the neurologist doctor who was horrible. The neurologist was rude, inconsiderate, not caring, does not listen, does not pay attention, does not clearly explain and has a horrible attitude. I tried to talk about my issues to her and she couldn't be bothered. I went there and had a bad seizure and my issue was ignored. She was completely inconsiderate and lacked professionalism.
I would not go there at all.
I always go to St Mary because I know my Drs and I have a patient relationship with them. I feel they care and try their best to give me the care I need. The nurses have been kind to me and they deserve recognition for that. I hope things don’t continue to change because as a patient you feel when changes come but not for better.
