Do not come here if you are having a medical emergency. I arrived on May 2, 2026 at 7:15am with active chest pain, heart palpitations, and shortness of breath. I was never triaged. Instead, a staff member named Christian S. kept me at the front desk interrogating me about insurance while I sat there with cardiac symptoms. When I explained that I do have insurance but had forgotten my card at home, she immediately dismissed me as self-pay and her entire demeanor shifted. No nurse came to get me. No vitals were taken. Nothing. Chest pain is an emergent symptom. Every trained medical professional knows this. What happened here was not just bad customer service — it was a failure of basic medical protocol that could have cost someone their life. As a person of color, the difference in how I was treated once she decided I wasn't worth her time was stark. My husband witnessed the entire interaction and agreed the treatment was discriminatory. The treatment I received was condescending, dismissive, and dangerous. I left without being seen and went elsewhere. I have filed a formal complaint with Texas Health and Human Services. If you are a person of color, uninsured, or both — this place has already shown you how they will treat you. Go to a real hospital ER instead.

Beautiful facility. Clean and organized. Truly a one stop shop because I was able to have bloodwork, CT scan, and ultrasound within my short visit. Every health professional I encountered was knowledgeable, kind, and communicative. I will continue to use Sacred Heart.

The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel at ease while treating my injured hand. I was admitted and seen by the doctor very quickly, and the entire process was efficient and reassuring. If I ever need emergency care again, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
