As a Black woman, navigating healthcare can come with a lot of valid anxiety based on our societal history. But as a believer and a healthcare worker myself, I went in with peace. I was greeted right at the door with a warm smile that instantly set the tone for my visit. I felt respected from the start—the staff used my name, chatted with me, and made me feel at ease.
The kindness continued in the prep room. The doctor and anesthesiologist were wonderful, explaining everything perfectly. Before I knew it, I was being given medicine to relax, and the procedure was over. They even called to check on me the next day. It is a beautiful thing to receive the same high standard of care that I pour into my own patients. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to anyone
After years of struggling with scary GI symptoms at a young age, I finally decided to face my fears and get a colonoscopy. I want to give a very special thank you to Dr. Randolph for his patience, kindness, and encouragement over the past year. He took the time to answer my questions, ease my concerns, and guide me toward making what felt like a very difficult decision.
I also want to thank the incredible staff at Phoenix Endoscopy for making what I thought would be a terrifying experience feel so comfortable and reassuring. Before the procedure, I met with both Dr. Randolph and the anesthesiologist (who was also incredibly kind), and they walked me through everything so I knew exactly what to expect. The nurses were wonderful—they gave me a warm blanket, talked with me to calm my nerves, and made me feel genuinely cared for.
The next thing I knew, I was waking up with pictures of my colon and my results. It honestly felt like the procedure never even happened—that’s how seamless the experience was.
I’m so grateful to Dr. Randolph and everyone at Phoenix Endoscopy. They turned one of my biggest fears into a positive experience, and I’m thankful they helped identify and remove polyps that could have become a much bigger problem in the future. If you’ve been putting off a colonoscopy because you’re scared, I truly hope my experience gives you some peace of mind. You are in excellent hands here.
I cannot say enough great things about this GI office. Every single doctor I’ve encountered has been knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring. It’s clear they take pride in providing high-quality care and truly listen to their patients. I’ve seen a few of the other doctors in the practice, and they have all been excellent, but I primarily see Dr. Mills—and he is truly wonderful. He is attentive, compassionate, and takes the time to explain everything clearly, which makes you feel confident and well cared for.
The office staff is absolutely amazing—friendly, efficient, and always willing to help. From scheduling appointments to answering questions, everything is handled smoothly and professionally. The nurses are equally wonderful—kind, attentive, and reassuring, which makes such a difference during visits and procedures.
Speaking of procedures, everything was handled seamlessly. The entire process felt organized, comfortable, and well-coordinated, which really helped put me at ease.
Overall, this is an exceptional team from start to finish. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for excellent GI care
I first had a consultation with Dr. Mills and he was very good at explaining everything and just made me feel at ease about my first colonoscopy. On the day of procedure, from pre-op to post-op, they made me feel calm and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Mills and his staff, they are wonderful!
I had excellent caring outstanding nurses who guided and assisted me before and after my surgery.
My doctors were so kind and took the time to come to the waiting area introduced themselves to me talked and explained what procedure each doctor would be performing.they explained that after surgery I would go to recovery then be discharged
Doctor's are the kindest absolutely most outstanding professionals.

I will give Dr. Michael Mills and his staff A+, they are very knowledgeable and always making sure all your questions are being answered, they treat you like a human not like a number ( just another person) they are very professional, they offer a type of caring for their patients that you hardly ever see nowadays.

We had to wait over 4 months for my insurance for approval and got denied! But somehow Dr. Michael Mills finally had them approved my procedure!
While prepping for tests isn't necessarily "fun," the ability to find issues before they become the life altering type is priceless. Everyone I communicate with leading up to my procedure, and those performing it, is always pleasant and very helpful, and I really appreciate Dr. Mills' depth of experience, his abilities and his very pleasant and kind manner of communicating! I am a happy patient!
This place was spotless! All of the staff was very friendly! They thorough in all of their explanations and procedures! They called to follow up with me afterwards. Their pathology follow up was expeditious. Very pleased with this office!
