My wife and I went to OrthoArizona, which is a large, physician-owned orthopedic group in the Phoenix Valley. She was injured in a car accident and was diagnosed with a partial tear of her meniscus and an ACL injury. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The practice has a modern decor, and they offer physical/hand therapy, pain management, athletic performance training, X-rays, MRIs, and durable medical equipment. In essence, OrthoArizona is a one-stop-shop for orthopedic needs in Arizona. I recommend them if you have any orthopedic needs.
Dr. Kevin Khalsa was an excellent provider. Everyone in the office was amazing and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. His medical assistant, Lesly, and surgery scheduler, Michelle Anthony, were both incredibly helpful, professional, and compassionate throughout the entire process.
Dr. Khalsa was honest, took the time to listen, and answered all of my questions and concerns thoroughly. I never felt rushed and appreciated how clearly he explained everything to me. The entire team provided outstanding care and customer service.
I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a knowledgeable provider and a caring, supportive staff. Thank you all for such a great experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The staff greeted my kindly and professionally. Ryan was very detailed and explained my pre op instructions clearly and professionally. He made sure that all my questions were answered and the appointment went smoothly and timely. I am very pleased with the entire process prior to surgery.

Lianne was so much more than I expected. This was my first consultation. Her style was very comfortable and open. We had a nice little banter talking about the history of my symptoms. She listened intensely, conversationally asking questions.
As we proceeded through some range of motion tests she took that information and developed a well thought through plan. I really appreciated the whole process.
I’m very convinced this process will produce good results.
Great experience. Very efficient operation. Dr fixed me right up. My frustrations are with the pre registration process. Don’t send me all that paperwork by text. I would prefer email so I can do it on my pc. I couldn’t get past my dob on text. So I showed up 45 minutes early and they hand me a tablet that took 45 minutes and asked way to many impertinent questions. I no more than got home and got this survey which was a pain to log into. Way too much tech BS. I’m going to get to where I don’t want to come there because of it. However I’ve always had great Dr’s and all other employees.
The girls who took me back were nice - and honestly it’s because of them that I’m not rating this one star - but this feels like a very “for the money” type of practice - not for the patient. I initially made an appointment for a consult regarding both my shoulder (muscular) and hips (bone), and they had no issue with scheduling that the woman on the phone was lovely. However, I arrive to my appointment and they tell me I need to pick on body part and make another appointment for the second body part as they wouldn’t have time for both. A little odd that they didn’t let me know that before making the appointment. Second issue I had is that before the doctor even sat down to ask me what was wrong they sent me in to get an X-ray. Now I don’t usually schedule these kinds of appointments so, while it felt unnecessary to have the x-ray done for my shoulder, I went along with it assuming it was just part of their process. Well, after the x-ray I sit down with the doctor who asks me why I’m there because my X-ray came back perfectly normal for my shoulder. That was kind of expected, but after doing a range of motion test on my shoulder, he confirmed that it may have something to do with my rhomboid muscle (again, could have guessed that much) then tells me that he’s going to order an MRI ($$$) and a PT. Honestly the only good thing that came out of this appointment was getting a referral for a PT, although if the PT is anything like what I experienced during the appointment, I think I’m going to look somewhere else. I also understand that it’s not uncommon for doctors to run behind getting to appointments if they got held up earlier in the day, but what I didn’t like is that I took time out of my work day to schedule this appointment, then when I finally sat down with the doctor it was at least 15 minutes after the appointment was scheduled. When I finally saw the doctor, the appointment only took about 10 minutes for him to come across as impatient while I’m trying to answer his questions, tell me what I already know and basically say that I will need to spend more money on more appointments for more answers. If the doctor had sat down with me first then maybe he would have known it wasn’t a bone issue and we wouldn’t have wasted each others time. I don’t know how to feel aside from being rushed and unimpressed. Like thank you so much for fitting me into your busy schedule.
PA, Gary North gets 5 stars straight away for excellent exam, professionalism and being extremely personable, caring and compassionate. I did have to wait 20 minutes past the appointment time (not unreasonable). However the initial tech who brought me to the assigned room and went through initial questions was aloof and rude. The XRay tech was extremely courteous and was careful to position me for multiple scans without causing any unnecessary pain
I’ve had a really positive experience with Ryan Marinone. He assisted in both my mine and my daughter’s surgeries. His preoperative and postoperative care has been exceptional. He consistently takes the time to truly listen to my concerns and makes sure all of my needs are addressed. I never feel rushed during appointments, which makes a big difference. He is empathetic, caring, and very considerate, and it’s clear that he genuinely wants the best for his patients. Every time I visit, I leave feeling heard, supported, and well taken care of. I’m very grateful to have a provider who shows such compassion and professionalism.
