Clay is one of the best providers I have ever seen. He was courteous, explained my condition explicitly, offered different options to consider, spoke closely and distinctly, beautiful smile that I found relaxing, gave painless injections!

Dr. Kooima is an important doctor, renowned in her field, probably has tons of patients, and reviews that i read indicated that she was friendly and efficient, nothing negative, all positive, so I anticipated a relatively quick, to-the-point visit. I found her to be one of the kindest and most thorough doctors I've ever been to. Without wasting time or words, she talked to me, tested the movement range of my right arm/shoulder, shared information both general and specific to me, and answered every question. SHE offered to show me the MRI images, which I jumped at, pointing out the exact place of the injury and was even willing to mark the injury on my shoulder with a red Sharpie so that I could leave knowing exactly where this tear in my supraspindula tendon was located. She was gentle, kind, and friendly, albeit reserved. She wasn't like overly friendly; there was NOTHING FAKE about this woman. I really liked her and left feeling good about how to proceed with my injury. She listened to my feelings about using pain as an important marker of injury that I didn't want to dampen with shots or any unnecessary medication. She didn't try to change my feelings. She said if I ever had so much pain that I needed to dampen it wIth a shot, we could take that route as well. I was treated as an indovidual with agency. I am including a picture that shows where she marked the location of the injury that matches the MRI. I knew it was an odd request, having already run the possibility across reception staff a few days earlier when i stopped in to 1) find their office...good thing, as it is in a two-story building at the back of a very big medical complex behind the hospital, and 2) fill out my paperwork ahead of time. They were uncertain (with big eyes) as to whether she would be willing to mark me up. 👀 😃 Today during the appointment, when I brought the Sharpies out and made my request, she did seem slightly surprised, but she didn't act like I was weird for asking and immediately said it would be fine. BTW, I am FULLY clothed in the uploaded image, taken after arriving home, but for a frame pf reference have included my right ear and a piece of my shirt that has been pulled to the side to clearly reveal the location of her 'X' at the place of the injury. That red X, btw, gives me great comfort, just knowing exactly where the trouble spot is. I went in thinking the tear was on my back, and it turned out to be on the front side of my upper shoulder all along!

Dr. Thomas was excellent! He took the time to thoroughly explain my husband's treatment plan and really listened to his concerns. He provided sound medical advice, and we truly appreciated his friendly, personalized approach. We highly recommend him!"

Dr. Wilson was amazing! Exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable in his field of expertise! He was very kind, which is rare in this day and age. I felt like I was heard and understood:) The rest of the office staff, the medical assistants, the X-ray technician and the receptionist were more than accommodating! All Great interactions! I feel at home here with a warm and caring reception:) Keep up the fantastic work! You guys are Awesome!

I saw Dr. Maxwell Thomas at OrthoArizona. Highly recommend him. Even with an appointment, the wait time to visit with him was at least 45 minutes. But the very competent staff kept me busy with preliminaries. Xrays are done in house and quickly. Dr. Thomas took his time with me, listened to my back story and concerns. He made me feel comfortable and didn't dismiss my concerns. He did a thourough exam, checked the xrays told me his opinion and what needed to be done to help me. All friendly and professional. The wait is so long, i think, because he doesn't rush anyone, which is worth the wait. Hip or knee pain, definitly go see him.

Clayton Bates, PA-C, took his time explaining everything to me and answered my questions thoroughly. He listened carefully to my concerns. I felt heard and not rushed. I especially appreciated his thoughtful, conservative approach to my treatment. His kindness, professionalism, and concern made a stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend Clayton to anyone seeking orthopedic care.

Jared Susini is Wonderful! Great attention to details. Explained everything in a way I could understand. Very professional and easy to speak with. Super nice!! Wrote everything down so I could have it in my appointment notes. Office is busy and the paperwork takes a bit of time, so go early. Everyone I interacted with seemed helpful.

Dr. Smith provides excellent care, answering all your questions in an unhurried manner, allowing you time to consider your options and is very supportive in follow ups. He's very knowledgeable and communicates his knowledge in a calm steadfast manner. Both my husband and I feel very well taken care by him, his PA Casey and the staff at Ortho AZ. Can't say enough good things about him!
