Outstanding medical care by EVERY member of the staff. Our mom came to ER and stayed in third floor two days. Doctors were very attentive and helpful, RN Iviana did a magnificent job with mom, with wonderful caring bedside manner; the CNAs and case worker, and cleaning staff were professional, friendly, and engaging. Our entire family was impressed with EVERYTHING and will gladly send family and friends back in their time of need.
I was seen my Dr. Hatem my whole pregnancy and delivered my baby here. Dr. Hatem was very knowledgeable and informative about any questions or concerns we had. Every appointment went smoothly. When I had my baby everyone was helpful and very friendly. I had a lot of trust and faith in my dr and it helped make birth a lot less stressful knowing we were in good hands. My sister recommended this hospital after she had her baby and I’m very glad I went to this one. I’ve had 2 kids and this hospital, Dr, staff and nurses treated me and my family the best
RUN WHILE YOURE STILL ALIVE . Oh how this hospital has fallen bad. Came at 10pm monday feb 9th waited HOURS in the ER just to be put in a hallway. To top it off these nurses are to busy talking it up at their desk then doing actual work. My mother waited hours to get a ultrasound for her massively swollen feet. They knew of her previous medical history of past stroke , high blood pressure and diabetes. I told them multiple times I was worried about a blood clot since her feet were getting purple and they were so swollen. They took HOURS up until 2 am to even get the ultrasound done. By this time we were the only ones left in the hallway in the far back. I went at 430AM to the nurses desk to see whats going on with the results. They were just to busy talking then actually working. I told them I wanted the NP which her name was Stephanie to come tell us the results. Around 5:15AM she finally comes to tell us everything is ok and we're getting discharged. I expressed how annoyed I was and told her " instead of the other nurses laughing and halving a jolly good time they should focus on their patients" she said ok and walked away. We were walking passed the nurse desk on the way out when I as clear as day heard STEPHANIE who was the NP talking about me to the other nurses. I told her back if she wants to be talking crap she should do it where the patient can't hear you!! I heard her unprofessional self clearly. This hospital is beyond horrible. They just dont have bed side manners here anymore and dont care. I will forever go back to Methodist on medical drive were we are actually treated with care!! This hospital is GARBAGE!!
My husband was recently in the hospital this week and felt very ill and he spent a few days in the hospital. We have been here before a few years ago, Mission Trails is a great Hospital. We had some amazing nurses on the third floor. I would like give a special Thank you to Janie RN and Whitney RN, they went above and beyond to take care of my husband, constantly checking on him, reassuring him and always answering questions. We would also like to thank Rebecca RN in the emergency department she was also amazing and helped us when things got scary quickly!
Brought my grandma here for some health issues, obviously, took them 2 hours just to get her into a room. I asked them multiple times for some water, for me not the patient, and no water. Once in the room, no chair for me sit on. My grandma also needed some pillows to prop her legs up due to pain, no pillows. She is also freezing and asked for a blanket and guess what, no blanket. Please don't come here if you want actual help. Currently still waiting for a doctor and writing this since I have nothing else to do.
On Nov. 2025, my Father had a major stroke & was taken to Mission Trail Baptist Hopital. He was taken by ambulance & dropped off at the hospital. When I arrived, they asked me to wait in the waiting area until they were done checking him in. 30min. later, i got called in & found my Dad unresponsive with noone around to help. He was alone in the cold ER room with no blanket & no pillow. The machine he was connected to kept beeping with a BP of 202/70. After approaching him, I saw his eyes were rolIed back & unresponsive. I requested a nurse twice, but never showed up. After waiting 10min. Dr. Hague showed up & walked in the room with a rude attitude . He walked in asking me "Whats going on?" I responded "thats what I would like to know, thats why my Dad is here." Again he asked, "well tell me whats going on with him." "I said "He may be having a stoke." He then responds, "I didnt ask you to diagnose him, I asked you "whats happening, what symptoms are you seeing?" I asked him, "Did the paramedics not tell you what we discussed at home when they dropped him off?" He said, "No, they dont always tell us everything. He said I need to know whats going on with him, what symptoms are you seeing." All this time, my Dad layed there helpless while the Dr. spoke to me trying to gather information. "I finally gave him a quick run donwn in hopes i could get him to start working on my Dad & after hearing me out, he proceeded to walk towards my Dad & examine him. After no response from my Dad, he walked right out of the room without saying a word & returned with a group of staff members & they all started working on him, all while i stood there clueless as to what was happening to my Dad. A few minutes later, it was confirmed thru the INTERCOM, (not by any medical personell), there was a stroke alert in room... It was later that the charge nurse came in to apologize & me told me that the paramedics had not given them that information. He said they told the hospital that the way my Dad appeared to look was his base line, meaning it was his normal look. I couldnt understand why the hospital was not made aware of my Dads situation because i had told the 911 dispatcher of his symptoms & after instructing me to ask him to lift his arm, smile and ask him questions, he failed to perform those tasks. According to the dispatcher assessment, he said he could possibly be having a stroke. When Medics arrived, they did the same test and they also agreed about a possible stroke. Im not sure where all this went wrong & who is to blame, but someone should be held accontable for neglecting immediate attention for my Dad. From the time he had symptoms of a stroke until he was actually worked on was approximately 2 hours. Over all, the nurses and everyone who was at his bedside never apologized or even spoke to me. The only person who seemed to care a bit about the lack of communication was the charge nurse. Please do your homework people. I hear alot of bad reports about mission trail and just by the low rating and reviews, its apparent some staff need to be replaced with caring, commpassionate, professional people who care for patients & not just there for a pay check.
My mom was admitted here in the ICU in room 12 and we had an excellent experience. The staff, from nurses, especially Kelly and Arnie , doctors, to housekeeping, was professional, compassionate, attentive, but most of all personable! They made a stressful situation so much easier. We are very grateful for the entire staff and would highly recommend this hospital for anyone in need of quality medical care.
My encounter was perfectly fine up until it was time for me to discharge the ER Doctor wanted to admit me for observation I declined because I feel my symptoms had significantly improved for me to manage at home!!!! I’m not going to run up a hospital bill just to be babysat for 23 hours!!!! The doctor told me that he was going to write my discharge papers I ordered my Uber because I was brought in by EMS!!! They sent me to the results pending area which is perfectly fine I asked the nurse about my I.V still being in since they said I was being discharged the nurse was so rude from the moment she opened her mouth she said you can go have a seat I don’t take I.V’s out until you are discharged I asked her about how long it would be just be I had already ordered my Uber and the hospital does not provide a way for you to get home!!!! She said I need to go medicate you can go have a seat if you want to leave then you can leave!!!! I went left the discharge area and went to the nurse’s station to ask if the discharge summary would be available online in my portal no one knew the answer!!!! I told the nurse that I needed a note to return to work tomorrow she said if you don’t wait for your discharge papers then you can’t get a note to go back to work. I’m asked for an estimated wait time so I would know if I needed to cancel my uber because that was my only way to get home!!! She did not answer me and just walked off. Then security came and said that I needed to wait in the lobby for my discharge papers because the nurse refuse to go over my discharge papers with me!!! She said her discharge papers are ready and she can wait in the lobby but I am not going to talk to her!!!! I told the security guard that I was not going to wait in the lobby because there was no reason for me to wait in the lobby she said that I had to wait for my discharge papers in order to get a return to work note!!! So I’m waiting the doctor that was over my care came by and I explained to him that I don’t have a problem waiting I just simply asked for and estimated time and instead of answering she walked away!!!! Then she was standing in the hallway talking shit with the tech!!!! I finally got my discharge papers no one went over my paperwork with me or explained anything they just had me sign a form saying they gave me my discharge papers!!!! I asked to speak to the charge nurse and they refused to let me speak to the charge nurse… I will never come to this hospital again!!! Just because you are overwhelmed and stressed does not justify you being rude and disrespectful I asked a simple question and if you couldn’t provide an answer all you had to say was that I am not sure at this time… There was absolutely no reason to call security because I was not being loud or causing a disturbance I’ve lost my voice so I wasn’t yelling barely speaking I asked a simple question!!!! The ER was great and my primary nurse was amazing as well but I do not remember her name!!!! Just because you are overwhelmed and stressed does not entitle you to be rude and dismissive!!! Especially when I am not being rude and rude or disrespectful to you I didn’t raise my voice or cause a seen!!!! I did tell her that there was no reason for her to be so rude when all I did was ask a question!!!! You don’t know how to manage your stress and emotions then you find a different path or find ways to manage your emotions better!!!! The nurses name was Sabrina. DO BETTER
