I had a great experience at Jefferson Honickman Center. The facility is incredibly clean and offers plenty of comfortable seating. The check-in process is seamless thanks to multiple self-service kiosks. I especially loved that the system tells you exactly which elevator and floor to go to right after you sign in. The ladies that were tasked to do my procedure were very nice. The physician assistant and Eileen, worked together to provide me with wonderful service. They both made sure that I was okay, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Local Guide·496 reviews·1231 photos Took my son to this location. To Took my son to this location. Took me forever to get an appointment, and yet only with a resident, Dr Beard. While I was thankful I was squeezed in after over a year wait, there really was no point to this appointment. I felt completely rushed, discounted in my observations and symptoms, "mansplained", and told I could ask questions later ...which was barely true. I felt discounted, talked over, unheard. When Dr Beard stepped out to get her supervising Dr, I used AI to get a much better diagnosis and explanation within seconds of my sons neaurological problems! Most of the AI explanation made a lot more sense, and pretty much confirmed what i suspected and contradicted the shoddy explanation Dr Beard gave me. Neurology has gotten to the point that there are so many subspecialties, it seems as a whole that would make it difficult for them to diagnose anyone. The supervising Dr was much better at listening, but it seems like Dr Beard was overshadowing her. What a waste of time, I found a neurologist closer to home. I have to pay cash, but it is worth paying cash to get a good doctor that travel into center city to get low quality care. Dr Beard, I hope this feedback helps you to understand the only difference between a doctor, and good artifical intelligence, and if you dont offer up some better humanity, you will continue to be easily replaced by artificial intelligence with other patients also. We wont be back to see you, I cant speak for the other doctors there.

I am in this medical complex more often than I’d like and this visit was wonderful. Walk-in radiology was fantastic, especially Tatiana and her crew in xray. The medical tech who started my MD visit was friendly and efficient. As always, Dr. Sharan and his nurse Carol were amazing. I appreciate the short wait times in every location, especially valet parking. The valet team is always helpful and friendly. I appreciate everyone’s help and efficient.

One hospital, three very different experiences. My mother was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and during an incredibly difficult time for our family, we interacted with multiple care teams at Jefferson Hospital. Unfortunately, our experience with the oncology team differed significantly from the experience we had with the infusion and pulmonary teams. As a family, we had many questions about the treatment process, medications, and dietary considerations so that we could better support my mother throughout her care. We expected these conversations to be met with empathy, patience, and professionalism. Instead, several interactions left us feeling dismissed and disrespected. In one instance, a nurse abruptly ended a phone conversation with a family member while we were seeking clarification about my mother's care. What was most disappointing was our attempt to address the situation constructively. Our goal was not to assign blame, but to reset the relationship and ensure my mother could move forward with a positive care experience. However, our concerns were not meaningfully acknowledged, and we did not feel there was accountability for the behavior that occurred. While we were told that the individual involved was "a good nurse," being clinically competent and treating patients and families with respect are not mutually exclusive. Both are essential components of quality care. Cancer treatment is an emotional and overwhelming journey for patients and their support systems. Communication that is dismissive, impatient, or disrespectful can create unnecessary stress and erode trust at a time when the focus should be on healing and recovery. In contrast, our experience with the infusion and pulmonary team was exceptional. They consistently demonstrated compassion, patience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. They took the time to answer questions, explain procedures and medications, and ensure both my mother and our family understood what to expect throughout the treatment process. Their approach provided reassurance, built trust, and reflected the level of care every patient deserves. I share this feedback in the hope that it helps strengthen the patient and family experience. The infusion and pulmonary teams exemplified the values that healthcare organizations strive to uphold, and I am grateful for the care they provided during such a challenging time.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Jefferson Honickam Center for the excellent care I received today. I had a vaginal sling procedure performed by Dr. Toidze, and I am truly impressed with the entire experience. The team works very professionally, everything is extremely clean and well-organized, and every staff member was attentive and compassionate. They constantly checked on me, making sure I felt comfortable and cared for throughout the process. Dr. Toidze is an outstanding specialist with a truly gentle touch. I already feel very good — even on the same day after surgery, I was able to go home and move around. There is some discomfort, but it is minimal. Dr.T Thank you so much for your incredible work. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me. I highly recommend this team to everyone and wish you continued success and growth while maintaining this high level of care.

My wife was scheduled for a biopsy and checkin was at 4:45am. We drove in from outside the city so we were zombies. We pulled up at the building where we saw the neurologist as he said they do the biopsies there. As we pulled up all the lights were out but there was an overnight security guard there. Reluctantly I knocked on the glass… mind you it is 4:30am at this time. The security guard who’s name we found out was Houston I believe, walked all the way around and outside to see how he could help. He then informed us that the building we were at doesn’t open until much later and that we likely need to go across the street. Even still he kindly invited my wife inside to check in and see if he was correct. After verifying that she prob needed to go across the street he offered to personally walk her over there and advocate for her. This man was pure class! His kindness and selflessness will never be forgotten and both my wife and I couldn’t possibly thank him enough for his brief but incredibly acts of kindness and compassion for her and her situation. As her husband I am so grateful for you Houston!

I had a procedure there today and the way I was treated was amazing! The nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologist, anesthesia nurse…everybody treated me like family. The building is also so beautiful and state of the art the entire visit went beyond smooth! I would definitely come back here again and would recommend this place to everyone who asks.

First of all the building is beautiful. When you enter it is a very modern lobby. Check in is done on a computer screen. The elevator is very very modern, before you get on the elevator you will tell it which floor you are going to and woosh away you go. The waiting area is beautiful also. Getting used to the check in and elevator is different, so the first time I would recommend getting there 10 minutes early. There is plenty of friendly employees in the lobby to help you.
