Dr LaSalle and the whole team at Hudson Spine are absolutely amazing!!! Super well trained, professional and friendly staff always there to help Dr. LaSalle and his predecessors have been my pain management doctors for almost 10 years now and I can honestly say I’ve never had anything but the very best experience and treatments from them all! Got me on my feet again — and kept me there! I wholeheartedly recommend this group for whatever your pain management needs are. Their downtown office is a gem.
As a black woman with severe chronic back pain.
I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this office. During my visit with Dr. Lasell, I felt completely dismissed and unheard. Instead of listening to my concerns or allowing me to fully explain my symptoms and reasoning behind changes in my care, the provider spoke over me and told me what works for me and pushing treatment on me that I told him has not worked for me in the past. This was not only unprofessional but also deeply concerning as a patient seeking proper care.
I also felt uncomfortable due to what seemed like a pattern of biased treatment, which made the interaction even more distressing. When I asked to speak with the Medical Director, I was initially told that the provider himself held that role, despite a different individual being listed as the Medical Director elsewhere. This inconsistency raised concerns about transparency.
I was then told the office manager would come speak with me. I waited for an hour and a half, only to be told that everyone had already left for the day. This demonstrated a complete lack of respect for my time and further reinforced the lack of care and accountability within this practice. Also, being a patient that they know have chronic back pain sitting in the office an additional hour an a half after seeing the doctor.
Overall, this experience left me feeling disrespected, ignored, and undervalued as a patient. I would not recommend this office to anyone seeking compassionate, attentive, and professional medical care.
This is my second time EVER writing a review for anything at all. My first time was with this office. It was due to extraordinary patient centered care I received from Dr. Kohler(The best care I have ever received since my diagnosis). This being the second time. The worse I have been treated in health care EVER. It was so hard to hear from a Doctor that his reasoning for not listening to me is because before he entered the room his mind was made up about how he was going to treat me. This was really disheartening and disappointing.
I spoke with Alexandra Patients Operations Manager who was very condescending and refuse to reach out to me until I reach back out. They were upset that I was challenging them and the care that they were providing.
I highly recommend Hudson Medical for the treatment of chronic back pain and migraines. Dr. LaSalle is an outstanding pain management physician who truly listens to my concerns, clearly explains the causes of my pain, and discusses the best treatment options. The support staff works seamlessly with the doctors, making the entire patient experience positive and efficient. Overall, Hudson Medical provides excellent patient care with friendly staff, efficient communication, short wait times, and clean facilities.

My experience with Hudson Medical was incredible. I went there to have my two SGB procedures and the treatment team was top notch and procedures a walk in the park.
Dr Cass together with Hanna, Brianna and Kelly, they made me feel comfortable (I am very anxious person), the procedures were walk in the park. The pre and post care was top notch.
After I was done, they seated me in the post care area and came to check up on me. I had significant improvement with my anxiety and PTSD from the first procedure and the 2nd one made it that much better. They even called me the day after to check up on me and how I was recovering.
I felt the the entire put so much care and excellence in my experience that I felt compelled to share it and highly recommend them if you are considering to take advantage of the SGB procedures. You will be in good hands and can trust them who heartedly. Emil
An outstanding practice from top to bottom. The staff is friendly, efficient, and responsive, and Dr. LaSalle is attentive and truly listens. It’s rare to find an office where everyone is this consistently caring and professional. I always leave feeling heard, supported, and confident in my care.
I had monumental experiences at Hudson Health, many thanks to the gifted hands of Dr Kuo! So far, I’ve gotten the SGB and EBOO procedures and I can’t say enough about how great they’re making me feel. SGB was a game-changer for me, and I consider it one of the best things I've done as a biohacker. It has made everything I do more enjoyable. And maybe part of that is placebo but for sure there's something about this that's not placebo. Because I've been in high pressure situations that would usually trigger some discomfort and my experience now is markedly different. I'm definitely calmer and any negative feedback loop that I had in my head is muted.
I just did the EBOO yesterday and I'm feeling great today. I'll update my review later. :)
Update March 2024: had a great telehealth session to renew my rx. Smooth, easy, prompt. Still 5 stars for Hudson Health
Had a good experience getting a DEXA scan here- the only reason I knocked a star is because I found my way there through fitnescity- which it seems is a separate entity. It’s almost like the health side of this business is lending their machines for this other company. Because of that, you don’t get in-person consultations with your results and fitnescity charges you for what you might have gotten for free with your scan.
This experience is confusing for customers.
I can't say enough good things about this place. You feel calmer and more grounded from the second you walk in. The staff answers every question with detail and care, and does everything possible to make you feel comfortable and at ease. The space is absolutley beautiful - I was shocked and delighted to find out that the plant wall is real. They offer a number of infusions, services and therapies. I was planning to spend a quick hour for my appointment, but stayed almost twice as long chatting with the staff, relaxing and reflecting on my treatment. This is an experience everyone should have at least once. I'm counting down the days until I can make another trip to NYC just for a visit to Hudson Medical. (A special hat tip to the staff - thank you for making my visit incredible :) )
