Upon arrival while completing paperwork, I realized that only one of my dexa scans was scheduled, so the receptionist, Celeste, called my medical practitioner and got a verbal order to get the other one done also. Celeste was extremely kind, professional, and helpful.
During the scans, Cassandra, the person performing the scans, was extremely informative, answered all of my questions, and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire experience.
It would have been helpful for me if the person I spoke to when scheduling the scans would have informed me of the appropriate and practical clothing choices, due to having to wear a gown during the scans.
Excellent place to have an MRI. The staff is kind and efficient as well as flexible if you need to change your appointment. They do their very best to serve us as patients which I really appreciated because it was my elderly Mom who needed the MRI and sensitivity is important and I found that here. They move quickly so the wait time was great!

I had an appointment at 1 PM. I got to Houston MRI at 12:38 PM. I did not get seen until almost 3 o’clock. I will not recommend anybody going there, especially if you have people that sit in the front office that can’t communicate when I came in that office, you knew that you already had a prior MRI and you knew that there were some issues which you should’ve did was let me know that when I first arrived or accommodated me in some type of way and I wasn’t. I miss other appointments sitting there because I needed to get that MRI and all I kept getting was apologies. I’m sorry sorry would you like a bottle of water? No, I don’t. I just wanna get my appointment done like everybody else. It’s not right for somebody. Have to sit there for 2-3 hours waiting for their appointment because I’m quite sure if I was late they would’ve rescheduled me what they need to do is get another damn MRI machine to make it accommodating for all people. Lastly I was brought back but still had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes to actual get the MRI just horrible. I was so irritated and frustrated with Houston MRI Sam Houston never again.
Everybody was so nice. They are on top of their work. My appointment was a 10:00. They had me in and out of there in 15 minutes. Thank you so much. I wish every doctor appointment was ran this well.
Overall it’s a 5 star. They stick to the appointment times. Which is so important to me. I’ve had several visits for myself and my family and this has been true each time. The staff is pleasant and professional. The office is clean and organized. My only suggestion is, if a client or employee is continually coughing they should be offered a mask out of courtesy to others.
The receptionist was a bit rude over the phone because I was suppose to arrive at 12:30 to fill out 2 pieces of paper with about 10 questions on it. I arrived at 1, I have 6 kids to get ready and take with me. With a fractured foot at that. And to be upset because I arrived at my exact appointment time is absurd. Besides that, the man who did my mri scan was very nice and took time to talk and have a short conversation with me about how and what happened to my foot. And how my scans should be fine since I didn’t move like they asked me not to. The MRI itself took a long time but I understand. They have little cubbies you can put your belongings in and a key to lock them. Nice and clean environment. Took a while to get a response back to see if my insurance was eligible but I got it done and out the way and in person the receptionist didn’t give me a hard time. I would recommend. Just don’t give people are hard time for arriving at their exact appointment time for it should interfere with their time and not the receptionists time.
Took way too long. Please let people know upfront if there is a long wait, so they are able to reschedule. The front staff, though friendly did not make this information clear. The woman upfront kept saying "30mins" which turned into 2.5 hours... It took 2.5 hours for a 5 minute X-ray.
