I was well cared for the entire time I was a patient. All staff was polite yet thorough. They knew I was very nervous about having my knee replacement surgery. They explained everything clearly and made me comfortable. I felt like I was receiving the best care in a very clean and safe environment. I love the valet parking. It takes away a lot of pressure to find a space, especially when you cannot walk.
Rebecca and Rosalyn are absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, they treated me with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Rebecca, the MRI technologist, was incredibly patient and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. She explained everything clearly, helped ease my nerves, and made what could have been a stressful experience much easier.
Rosalyn was just as wonderful. Her warm personality, caring heart, and genuine concern for patients truly stood out. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and cared for.
Together, Rebecca and Rosalyn make an exceptional team. Their dedication, teamwork, and outstanding patient care are a true blessing. It’s rare to find healthcare professionals who are not only highly skilled but also so compassionate and attentive. I am deeply grateful for the care I received and highly recommend them to anyone needing imaging services.
Thank you both for making such a positive difference in my experience!
Starting with my post op visit then my arrival on 5/19/26, day of my surgery, everything was beyond perfect. It continued on 5/20/2026 when it was time for me to leave the hospital, from recovery, to the exit area, everything was perfect, caring and very professional. A couple of days after I returned home, I received a call from the hospital, asking how I was doing and if I needed anything. At 73, and having surgery for the first time, other then delivering my son 54 years ago, my experience with HCA was simply amazing. I cannot thank Dr. Brandon Low, his entire staff and the Hospital for such a caring experience on 5/19/26. All the amazing nurses, the Anesthesiologist, including Rex the Physical therapist , that helped me. I could not have been treated any better. Thank you Dr. Low and HCA for such an incredible and professional experience.
Sincerely,
Carol A Borne

I recently had an outpatient procedure at HCA Clear Lake Hospital, and my experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.
Having surgery can be nerve-racking, but the nurses and staff made me feel comfortable, cared for, and supported every step of the way. I would especially like to recognize RN Jessica, RN Lola, RN Sherry, and RN Jada for the exceptional kindness, compassion, and attention they showed me. Their caring attitudes truly made all the difference and helped ease my anxiety.
I would also like to thank the anesthesiologist for making me feel comfortable and at ease before my procedure.
Most importantly, I want to recognize Dr. Deya Dafashy, who performed my surgery. He was incredible. From the care he provided to the excellent outcome of my procedure, I could not have asked for a better surgeon. My pain afterward was very minimal, which speaks volumes about his skill and gentle approach. I truly felt I was in great hands throughout the entire process.
Thank you to the entire team at HCA Clear Lake Hospital for providing such outstanding care. Everyone treated me with kindness, respect, and professionalism, and I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience I had.
The care given by staff in the pre-operation and post operation area was exceptional in their attention to my every need and concern. Although, multiple medical staff attended to me each one's engagement was genuine in making me feel like their most important patient that day. The operating room staff was very much the same (for what I remember in twilight). Easy to speak with as they prepped me for the procedure, answered questions with a caring attitude and their co-staff discussion assured me they were working as a cohesive team in support of my procedure outcome.
Dr. Low and nurse practitioner Amy Anderson are amazing from the ortho dept. Very thankful for their compassion and professional care. Also would love to thank the amazing nursing staff on my floor that took excellent care of me starting with Nurse Mara she is an amazing lady and very good and taking care of me also want to thank Emily. There are others to thank but I wasn't able to copy down the names. Thank you again to all staff involved in my care.
The hospital itself is fantastic, I had a great doctor (Dr. Clinger, seriously spectacular) and there was a great team that took care of my baby and I once she was born. Honestly every service I've received here has been outstanding. However the women's specialist call center is wildly ridiculous. Like they've always been slightly annoying but tallerarable seeing how great the service is else where. Until today, apparently they can not send messages after noon on Fridays to your doctor, and everything closes. But they can transfer you to an after hours line that you can pay for, however it's apparently impossible to get through to the after-hours doctor through the call system so that's heaps of fun. Also Veronica should find a different line of work, because she really is terrible at the one she has now.
I'm 68 years old and was having blurry vision and dizzy symptoms. After the ER employees checked me out I spent 16 hours in the waiting room. They said I was admitted but there were no rooms available. During the 16 hour wait, I was visited by 1 nurse to take my blood pressure. I was then moved to a small surgery prep room (temporary place to stash patients waiting for a room) with nothing but a small bed. No window. No TV. No walls.
My advice:
1. Bring a coat: it was freezing!
2. Bring a book - there's no outlets to charge a tablet.
3. Bring food! Otherwise you'll have to walk really far for the vending machines.
4. Bring ear plugs! There are no rules about cell phone volume so all night there are ringtones blasting out and other patients using speaker to talk - I only slept about 1-2 hours each day. The surgery prep room they put me in had no walls, just curtains.
5. Don't blame the staff: They were freindly and helpful. My guess is corporate greed is alive and well at HCA Clearlake Hospital. I have 28 family members scattered around the Clear Lake area. None of them will ever use this ER or hospital again.
