Honestly I have mix feelings about this place. Came with my father. He had an episode at home. Decided to come to make sure he was okay once he got stabilized. Wasn't sure if this was a heart attack or not. It was our first experience ever. Pretty much we waited as they took samples and multiple xrays. The doctors came in didn't have any answers other than go to a cardiologist blood work is fine.
My father information got mixed with another patient even insurance info. No one took accountability. You can hear Dr. Garcia tell the RN "Patients registration is mixed up with someone else" someone said "what should we do?" Dr. Said "start all over". I had to talk to a 3rd party registration to confirm my dad's info and insurance twice with 2 different people on a tablet call. Even on the 2nd call info was still mixed up by the ER input. Charging payment to another insurance. No one came in to discharge us. We came out the room and bumped into the doctor Garcia and asked if we are good to go. He said yes. Then I told him there's nothing inside the folder. This other nurse quickly got up and told the doctor "I got it I'll print their paperwork."
Shouldn't the folder have all the paperwork already?
I liked that its a local emergency room and it was empty. My father got in a room right away other than confirming that he's OK the whole patient mixing information with other patient kind of makes things unsettling I understand maybe who responsible in filling in the information was probably tired as this is a 24/7 emergency room.

HCA Houston ER was only 5 minutes away from my home, which made it very convenient to get care in the middle of the night. I went in for blood in my urine and was seen by the staff/Doctor within 5 minutes of arriving. Everyone was really nice and had a great attitude/energy. They all heard my concerns well and were informative on my diagnosis and next steps. Because it was in the middle of the night, they gave me my 1st dose of medication in the ER and gave me a snack to eat with it as the medication was to be taken with food. They also had me stay for another 30 minutes to make sure I was okay from taking the medication before discharging me. They were efficient and provided a quick solution to my symptoms, and I am thankful for their care. I will definitely be coming back here should I need emergent care again.
I went to this ER the first doctor I saw prescribe me seven medications that never went to the pharmacy. If you were in excruciating pain this is a joke. This place is a joke. It took an older Caucasian doctor to come in after the Indian young guy and give me morphine, which was the only thing that killed the pain I had to tell them the last doctor did nothing for me. I am not leaving here with the pain that I came in the door. Because this is a joke. I asked to see the next doctor, which they did let me talk to him. He gave me medication that I can go home with but the next day the horrible pain came back and I ended up in Where I got better, Care and Sugarland Saint Luke is sad that this ER is right in front of my neighborhood, but it is not the best. I am a leukemia survivor. I should never walk out of emergency room in pain that tells me the Indian guy doctor. The young guy dropped the ball on my pain. Never a phone call back if you call them they are rude. The person that answers the phone as of today which is the eighth he was very rude. The seventh I call. He was very rude. How do you send a person home with the pain that they walked in the door with this is not the place to go right here in Stafford. They are new but they’re not good. This is an ER. They’re so quick to kick you out the door within 30 minutes to not even an hour. I was discharged until I asked to Second doctor. this is not the place to go you guys you would die at their ER and I can imagine what’s going on in their hospital. You wanna live you better go to Methodist ER and Siana or Saint Luke and Sugarland. I just go to the Medical Center because a lot of these places are trash, make sure you look at the reviews before you head in their door, but I can tell you, Methodist and Siana is the bomb Saint Luke and Sugarland ER wonderful
Great quick and to the point. Came in with my entire family to test for the flu. We were all running a fever and coughing, this included my 9 month old. They got us in quick tested and prescription done. We were there for about an 1 hr and half back home feeling better with much more information that helped us get better. Truly loved this place for any emergencies.
Horrible treatment. Staff is nice to your face (albeit while being very dismissive) then talk bad behind your back. I went in for chest pain and dizziness, immediately met with dismissive comments about how I'm only 22 and shouldn't be having such issues, then when I'm given an iv, it's placed way too far and blows my vein immediately. Later when I'm gone to do a chest x-ray, my partner who was with me overheard the same nurse that blew my vein go "another one of these huh? Just diagnose her with diabetes and send her home." I'm assuming because I'm overweight. As soon as he saw my partner listening he shut up. Once the doctor finally came in she didn't even ask me about my symptoms or history she just immediately said "you know, anxiety can manifest into physical symptoms sometimes." Which I've been hearing for years. Why is it that when medical staff sees a fat woman the first thing they say is diabetes or anxiety? Why is it so hard to actually get treatment?? I left the er with no answers and went to a different er which immediately took me seriously and i was hospitalized for 4 days because guess what?? It wasn't anxiety. I apparently have a heart condition called supraventricular tachycardia PLUS an enlarged left ventricle wall PLUS a faulty mitral valve. Yes I'm only 22 and I've been fighting for my heart health since 17 all while i get nothing but a repeat anxiety diagnosis and pumped full of Lexapro. Stop diagnosing everything as anxiety you are NOT psychiatrists.
I took my son into the ER in Stafford for a very important medical concern. The nurse took his vitals and supposedly did a urine test to send off. The doctor came in very despondently and disengaging and said, “so what’s the problem?”. No care, concern, or empathy in his demeanor or voice. My son told him his concerns and the doctor examined him for literally 2 minutes and said “oh yeah. I’ll prescribe medication. Take it for a couple of days and you should be fine” and walked out. No possible explanation of what it could be, just prescribed meds for whatever and that’s it. He didn’t come back in to engage us at all. The nurse came in, gave us discharge papers, and said that was it. The entire visit lasted all of 20 minutes. The lack of concern or empathy for their patients was astounding and disheartening. I actually work for a subsidiary of HCA and if this is how they treat their patients, I’d rather find care elsewhere. This is my CHILD with a medical concern and it was just disregarded. So a week goes by and I was told that they’d get back to me within 3 days but I had to call for his test results, only to be tossed around to several people and departments. When a lady from medical records answered, she said that she couldn’t help me and to call back. WTH!!!! God forbid it’s their loved one that has an issue, they’d be tearing down buildings to make sure they’re taken care of. This is ridiculous.
If you can travel a little further to Methodist SugarLand please do so! This has to be the worst ER with in my neighborhood! As soon as you walk in the place smells like an old lobby! It smells as if someone has been smoking in there and odor is trying to be masked by something else. The nurse comes in and asses my symptoms and proceeded to give me a whole consult as to why he doesn’t think what I have is what I am describing . He proceeds to tell me what specialist I should see. Mind you this is the nurse ! A whole 8-10mins the. Stands up and tells me the doctor will come see me . 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 the doctor comes in and asks me what can I help you with today! So I’m thinking did the nurse not just communicate his whole consult to her? I then told her well I thought I had an allergic reaction but apparently the nurse just gave me a whole consult stating I just need to see a dermatologist ! She is making all sorts of facial expressions as I am explains my symptom's. Mind you she was able to give me some medication that might help or might not is what she said ! I thought this place would be okay to go but I should have just gone to Methodist . I would avoid coming here as the place smells dirty, and their bedside manners are terrible.
Amazing service. Went in scared and unsure what was going on came out feeling better and knowing what to do. They had an IV in my arm within 15 minutes of me showing up. They were professional caring and had great bedside matter. They knew what they were doing.
