This place is a 25 min drive for me bc for some reason the VA decided to suddenly stop approving coverage for Veterans like myself at the Hardy Oak Full Spectrum that is only 5 minutes from my home, but it's worth the drive. This is the best clinic I've ever been to. I've come here 3 times in the last 6 months and every single time the whole staff is super nice and professional.
One suggestion:
The examination table padding needs to be replaced. Like a year ago. lol
Huge thank you to Dr Hughes, RN Phillip, and staff at FS ER at the RIM for the thorough care and attention to my medical needs. The next day, a nurse called to check on me and ask if I had any concerns. Above and beyond!! I appreciate Dr Hughes and RN Phillips willingness to include me (patients) in my own care. I admire their desire to educate patient and family rather than assuming anything. They understand the patient is their own advocate, and it was encouraged to contribute. No rushing at the office, all of the staff were respectful, polite, and friendly -from front desk to the tech to the imaging tech. It was a very complete work up and a clear direction of a plan upon leaving. I left feeling very comfortable with, especially being included.
I will forever come to this facility for my family and myself to get seen because we always get treated with the best of care. Dr. Mayer took great care of my son that was having a horrible headache along with even being very sweet to my daughter that wanted to get all the attention as well. He wasn’t rushing, he listened to our concerns, and explained to us all our options. Nurse Jessica was amazing as always, very friendly and prompt with triage and providing medication.
Jillian, Annie and Dr. Kann were absolutely the best. As a team they all took very very good care of my daughter that had a very scary scare. Walked her through it over and over. To the point I needed a phone charger to even leave this review- gave me their own!! Absolutely great care!
I took my 11 year old daughter to be see for ear pain and as always, everyone at Full Spectrum took such great care of us! From the time we walked in, we were greeted warmly by Ethan who made registration so easy. Samantha called us back quickly as was so kind and welcoming. Robert the P.A.was wonderful! He took time to listen to what brought us in, he asked age appropriate questions and he communicated with my daughter in a way that she was able to answer all the questions herself-which is so important since she was the patient. Robert even took the time to educate both of us in the workings of the inner ear so she could understand what was causing her pain and why. P.A. Cocke is a true gem! Our visit was quick and easy, we were in and out in less than 45 min. Thank you Full Spectrum, you are our go to place for a reason!

Unfortunately, the level of care from Dr. Paul Mayer was inadequate to say the least. I came in for constant headaches lasting weeks after a car accident where I hit my head, accompanied by other common concussion symptoms. He was dismissive and repeatedly interrupted me while I attempted to provide context, duration, and severity of symptoms, making it nearly impossible to give a complete history. I started answering him plainly “yes and no” so he would not continue to cut me off. This also made it hard to even mention other related symptoms. My sister mentioned she felt uncomfortable with his energy in the room, too.
When he listed a series of symptoms, I answered yes to balance issues. Before I could explain any further, he said, “Well, you walked in just fine.” I was stunned by the dismissive reply and responded, "I'm mean a few days after the accident”. That response prematurely dismissed me without any attempt to clarify timing, frequency, or severity. It also appeared my chart had not been adequately reviewed, as I was asked every single question that was already documented in the HPI and medical history from the nurse beforehand. Despite daily use of pain medication without relief for over 2 weeks, he recommended no further evaluation and primarily talked about the disadvantages of getting diagnostics. He said to just keep taking painkillers and gave me a generic handout on tension headaches, even though he said I have a mild concussion.
I felt belittled and left with confusion in the care I received. Providers should not behave as if you're wasting their time for a service. However, the clinic staff were very helpful in getting my concerns about this interaction addressed and resolved and guided through next steps in getting reassurance.
Full Spectrum ER was absolutely amazing! I hate going to emergency rooms but when it is a a must this was like being at an ER resort. They took me back immediately, took my vitals did bloodwork and a cat scan within a couple of hours and sent me home with meds and info to follow up with a specialist. Dr Oscar Martinez and his staff were outstanding. They were so kind and courteous. I’m still not an ER fan but if it comes down to it in the future I highly recommend this facility. Thank you for taking such good care of me! Blessings to you Dr Martinez and staff for being such Godly people.
I received excellent care on my recent trip to the Full Spectrum Urgent Care at the rim. To the front desk, the Nurse , Dr Robert and Quinn a very heartfelt thank you for the wonderful caring atmosphere and care.
