I have to say this was the most awful dental experience I've ever had. I was in a great deal of pain. I went in only for that purpose. They would not or even address the problem they said I had to do a deep cleaning 1st and that I had to do it in 2 visits and was going to be about $400. Sent me home no antibiotics no pain meds I said they didn't have to do the visit in 2 visits they said I had to. On my 2nd deep cleaning visit I brought my daughter to get her routine covered cleaning. When I was done it was going to be about 7,000. To do 2 root canals, filings and crown that I really needed. So I was still left in pain because they wouldn't do anything till deep cleaning was done. When my daughter got done with her exam she had no cavities but they wouldn't do her covered cleaning said she had to do a deep cleaning $300.00. I went to another dentist 1st visit did my root canal nothing out of pocket! They told me you can do a deep cleaning in 1 visit so fresh did it in 2 to bill more. The other dentist did my daughter's cleaning a deep cleaning at no charge. Thank God I took my business elsewhere. Needless to say I would not recommend or ever go back there again. If I could give negative stars I would.
Updated. This unfortunately is my final year for treatments at the Fresh Dental Care on Gulf Freeway near Edgebrook.
It has nothing to do with their attentive staff, their clean business or their popular business model here. I believe they have many loyal and returning customers.
It has everything to do with my home being 20 miles away now, from when I was living in South Houston being a loyal customer for five long years.
Second, their policy here for not accepting my DHMO for treatment. So I would have to continue paying $300 cash per extraction to remain a client at their location.
I've always enjoyed having my treatments done here for the most part. I've never had any major issues other than this most recent one regarding my non accepted Cigna dental plan. And once an over zealous aggressive cleaning. I also believe they should turn off the sound to the television in the lobby because it interferes with the soft female voices, calling your names out several times to get your attention.
If you plan on coming here, be prepared to wait 2-3+ hours after your appointment time to get seen. I’m sure the staff are nice and are doing the best they can given the circumstances, but people who are needing honest reviews before proceeding to visit this place should be warned. Space is limited and they try to cater to more people than they are prepared to handle with efficiency. Do not fall for their sales or specials as that is only if you qualify for specific parameters they have in place for them. This should not be first only and choice… go and get a second opinion elsewhere if you can.
Had a great experience. Everyone who helped my children and I were very nice and attentive. My daughter was hesitant about getting a cleaning but the higieniest was made her feel comfortable enough to trust her with the procedure.
Only willing to help if Hispanic. Office was full. Which tells me they are offering great prices as advertised. But, for me, an African American, I was told to pay $5000 for 1 bridge and that with my insurance. And she was nodding and laughing while explaining this to me. As if she knows this is too high. Don’t waste your time if not a Latina
The staff is kind, helpful and respectful. Yes there is a wait but I don’t mind because it’s the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend this place.
If i could give this place 0. I got braces with this people worse decision ever, i hate my teeth and this people didnt care. I ended with a bunch of black triangles. They prolong the process to take more money from you. Every visit to this place took 2hrs plus. They didnt want to give me my retainer that i paid for and who knows if im going to get my refund. The only thing that im happy about is that i NEVER have to set a foot in that place again but ama have to spend money somewhere else to fix my teeth. If you value your time, money and you want to give your kids or yourself a good smile PLEASE go somewhere else!!! All the 5 stars you see are all employees there.
The worst Dentist/Ortho office! Waiting 3+ hrs just to be seen is ridiculous! This place deserves 0 stars! My siblings have been in treatment for 3 years and they are still not happy with results! Don’t waste your money here!
