Jennifer is amazing! She’s extremely thorough, very forward thinking, and is a wonderful, calming presence. The doctors are also amazing! I’m just putting my review on my experiences with Jennifer today.

Dr. Steil helped me feel comfortable both physically and worry-wise during a procedure to remove a problematic mole. I needed a little extra time, and Dr. Steil was generous about giving that to me. Her assistant was friendly and clearly explained the after care procedures, and the office staff were polite and helpful.

The staff was courteous, competent, and direct. I had a highly disappointing experience with a large dermatology practice in this area and surrounding regions. The customer service center restored my confidence in the healthcare system.

Dr steil was so professional. She removed the growth on my hand that was non-cancerous and pretty much right on top of one of my veins with a scalpel. Afterwards, I had to use a topographical medicine and the growth never came back.

I was a patient at CSC Dermatology for over three months undergoing a dermatological treatment protocol. My appointment on June 5, 2026 was canceled without any notification to me. I was already on my way to the office when I called to confirm my location and was informed the appointment had been canceled. I was subsequently dismissed as a patient without explanation, without a referral, and without a transition of care plan. When I requested a refund for services not rendered the practice manager refused. I have filed formal complaints with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, the Illinois Attorney General's Office, and the Better Business Bureau.

This was my first time visiting this dermatology office, and I had a great experience. The staff was professional, welcoming, and made me feel very comfortable. I received excellent care and am very happy with my results. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend them!

Be careful with billing here. My wife scheduled an appointment assuming they still accepted her insurance, as they had for prior visits. She also had a valid referral, and they collected her copay at check-in. After the appointment, we received a message stating they made a mistake and no longer take our insurance, so we are expected to cover the costs. Patients deserve clear, upfront information about insurance and costs before receiving care. This lack of transparency made for a very disappointing experience.

Dr Steil took time to explain treatment and answer my questions/comments. She is always considerate of my concerns and my lack of medical knowledge. She is friendly and has nice sense of humor.
