I'm debating should I notify the state or complete a review. This place is FILTHY, equipment has droplets from other patients that has built up over time. Dentist gives numbing agent, when asked the name of agent he responded, "why if I told you, you wouldn't know the difference". He purposely didn't wait til my gums were numb, the pain was horrendous to remove the tooth. I guess he only cater to young women, the dentist(has short man syndrome, strutting around like a peacock) his treatment of younger women was totally different. I know several clients that sought dental care at this location, they confirmed how FILTHY the place & the equipment was. After several young women went to this location, it was confirmed their treatment was a little better, but facility & equipment was filthy, all 3 ladies made excuses & left. I was charged over $500 for one tooth extraction. Chatham dental has no idea who walks thru their doors, six different health-care workers sought dental care at this location, and we debated whats the best course of action, notify the state of Illinois Dept. Finance & Professional regulation, Chgo health Dept, Illinois Dental Assoc. and a honest review of Chatham dental at 7931 S. DML King Dr. The dentist behavior lacked care or concern, definitely not professional, instructs the young ladies with a wave of his hand, "get her out of here". Several clients asked about antibiotics and/or pain medication, his response 'for what" and walked away. The dentist does not provide a name or the courtesy of introducing himself as the dentist and he's not interested in medical history, patient informed dentist of diagnosis that affects the teeth, his response "yeah, OK". This business HORRIFIC for females over the age of 40yrs.
The Absolute best place to get your teeth fix same day no appointments; they took Medicare and Meridian insurance. I was in and out in less than an hour, the Dentist Dr. O and Shanica were very polite and made my visit for fillings and extraction not just business but a learning experience.
My visit today at Chatham Dental Care was very positive polite and professional. Doctor Orrington is very tough and direct, no nonsense type of man. I trust his second opinion and will accept his referrals for Periodontist and Endodontist providers. I look forward to my next visits. The two employees at front desk were very professional and helpful. Excellent. Athena and Shanica were awesome. Thank You

In age All the doctor did was count my teeth and say I needed 2 pulled . I came in for a cleaning and to see if I need braces they refused to clean my teeth because they was trying to go home . They tried to make it seem like they had to send off paper work first befor cleaning my teeth. After he counted my teeth he left and a hurry which is so unprofessional . They was in the back gospeling about other patients. I don’t know why you go this location I should have to the place I was going to go to at first but I came here cause I leave down the street.

⭐️ Review for Chatham Dental Care – Honest Experience
My visit to Chatham Dental Care was extremely disappointing. While the front desk staff was kind, their overall appearance was unprofessional, and as the first people you see, presentation matters.
The dentist greeted me completely covered—mask, shield, goggles, and glasses—so I couldn’t even see his face or make a connection. His communication style felt unprofessional and borderline condescending. When I asked questions, he often didn’t know the answers and had to “go check,” which didn’t inspire confidence.
After all of that, the work he did wasn’t done correctly the first time and had to be fixed.
Moral of the story: stay far away from this place.
This was not the level of professionalism, care, or respect any patient deserves.
