Easily one of the best doctor office experiences I’ve had. This was my first time ever being seen here and I was in and out in record time (that being a good thing). The PA was on time, answered all my questions, didn’t rush the appointment and was very nice and polite. Great bedside manner and thorough. Highly recommend this office! Lovely staff.
I can’t say enough good things about my experiences with NP Nayda Edward’s and her MA Nicole. They are very professional, knowledgeable and work well as a team. They take the time to understand my concerns, explain each option clearly and make me feel comfortable with the process. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking expert, compassionate skin care.
This is an excellent health care facility. The Staff is the most kind and caring group I have ever been to and I’m 86. I was late due to transportation and they still made room for me with kindness. They made me feel welcome And their coffee is wonderful.
I was encouraged to be prepared for pain, suffering and to only get 1/2 of the treatment because there wasn’t enough time. The whole situation was sketchy and explained in a different way every few minutes. It was weird and I’m doing just fine. I think… maybe I wasn’t treated. Who knows? Maybe I just sat under a bunch of lightbulbs for 16 minutes? The acetone (nail polish remover ) all over my face and dripped in my mouth was unpleasant for sure. The Student Nurse was fantastic! Fun, relatable and as helpful as possible.
These folks are clueless. Save your time and your money!!! This is a corporate run medical office that doesn’t communicate internally and apparently they have no idea what the rules and regulations are when it comes to prescribing meds in their office.
I booked an appointment for a Friday roughly two months ago to start acutane. I explicitly said I can only be seen on Fridays but don’t care who I see. They said well we have Dr Sood covering for a few Fridays, normally he doesn’t work Fridays but not a problem we can transfer you over to Dr Sophia to continue your care. I meet Dr Sood, he echos the same remarks, he doesn’t work Fridays but he’ll get me started on the acutane and Dr Sophia can take over. Great, no problem.
I come back for a follow up about two weeks later, I happen to get Dr Sood again, he reiterated this will be the last time and Dr Sophia will be taking over. Awesome, no problem.
I start running low on my first month supply and need to get a refill. I call the office about 7-10 days before I run out (now I know it’s a call center). They tell me they can’t refill until Dr Sophia goes over my blood work with me. I have my blood work sent over and show up for my visit with Dr Sophia. She tells me she is going to increase my dosage but She seems confused about who is going to take care of me and made multiple comments about getting me back with Dr Sood but she would call in my refill. At this point I’m down to my last 5 days of meds. As I’m checking out, I make a comment to the front desk “I’m not sure if your doctor knows she’s taking over my care. Can you please be sure she knows I’m now her patient and not Dr Soods?”
3 days go by and I have to call 3 times over the next two days in order to get the meds called in and have to pay extra out of pocket to have them overnighted. This is when I discovered the call center doesn’t actually have direct contact with their providers and they can only “leave notes” for the doctors. Once the $100 meds arrive, I discover ITS THE WRONG DOSAGE.
At this point I’m pissed. I call and request a call from Dr Sophia and of course only get a call back from her medical assistant Irma who tells me Dr Sood should have never started me on those meds because Dr Sophia won’t be able to continue treatment with me unless I get in contact with the iPledge people to have my case transferred over to a new provider. They also said it’s not something that can be corrected on their end either. What a joke!!!! If they knew this, why did they schedule me with two different providers when I specifically told them I can only be seen in a Friday?!?!?
I am also a healthcare provider and own my own private practice. If this is how they treat fellow healthcare providers, I can’t imagine how they treat the rest of their patients.
Good luck!
So refreshing to go to a doctors office where every single employee was kind, helpful and smiling! Nadya was very thorough and explained what she was finding. Great office. So glad it was recommended to me.
My family had been coming here for years. The past few visits, the front office staff has been rude and inappropriate. Doctors' visits have felt rushed. Today It took 20 minutes for two employees to explain that I needed to call a phone number to prove I'd paid a "bad debt" before they would let me see the doctor. They loudly repeated to each other that I owed a "bad debt" across the full waiting room, and ignored several of my questions as I tried to resolve the issue. They spoke to each other and to me from their chairs at opposite ends of the receptionist area with no attempt to maintain privacy. Over a miscommunication, one receptionist said my wife had lied when she made the appointment for our son, and threatened to "play back the recording of the phone call" when I tried to explain the situation. All of this for a $50 no-show fee that had been paid over two weeks ago.
