I had both knees replaced and used Ortholazer after both surgeries. They do an excellent job of service. Keith, Kelly and newly trained Gigi are all awesome in their professionalism and personal service. The laser treatments definitely made a difference in the swelling I experienced improvements immediately. I recommend the service.

Dr Kavanaugh was a breath of fresh air. His professional, medical and technical experience is so impressive. It took a few months to get an appointment; however I’d want a year if necessary. Best decision I’ve ever made. His staff is pretty amazing as well.!

5 STARS for doctor. Billing 1 star. I called to verify, One box of dry collagen pads 7 x7 from Medflow/Cellera charged to my insurance for $13,959.75 when you can buy online for less than $400. See photo for proof. Now they say I owe Co-insurance.

I got charged for a service that never happened 6 months after my one time visit as “prolonged service without direct patient contact 60 minutes”. Initial visit was for a broken toe that didn’t require anything other just an x ray and some consultation on treatment and recovery. I will be challenging as this was never communicated or discussed. Is this a standard practice as this has never happened.

This rating reflects what I consider to be terrible billing practices, not medical care, which was excellent. My experience is similar to at least one other post regarding this issue. My wife has had both knees done by AZ Ortho, the first two years ago, the second last February. The issue relates to collagen pads provided by AZ Ortho to promote healing of the surgical scar post surgery. These were not provided two years ago for the first surgery, so presumably this is not an item of medical necessity. We received 21 pads by mail and used them for 21 days as prescribed. We were advised upfront that these pads needed to be cut down to size to only cover the surgical wound. We only used 6 pads. I was surprised to get a billing from AZ Ortho for about $1,300. We had not gotten this billing for the first knee two years ago. Upon investigated this, I found that AZ Ortho had submitted a claim for reimbursement from my insurance for over $13,000 for these pads (retail cost online about $600]. My Medicare advantage plan allowed over $6,000. Because I have a 20% copay on supplies, AZ Ortho has billed me $1,300. I spoke to the billing person at AZ Ortho— no sympathy. I have appealed this to my insurer, the amount is grossly excessive and the amount supplied as well. If you are a patient of this office and they want to provide collagen pads, just get them yourself. It’s an over the counter, readily available item.

Kortney Daly is absolutely fantastic! I saw her for a follow up appointment after foot surgery and I am literally astounded that there aren’t more reviews for her. From the moment she walked in to the moment she left, she showed such genuine care for me and answered every question I had. She even took the time to run the X-rays past the doctor to make sure everything was good before giving clearance for weight-bearing. By the way she treated me I would think she had been a lifelong friend, and yet there I was, seeing her for the first time ever. If you get the privilege of seeing Kortney, know you are in the hands of the absolute best Physician Assistant at AZ Ortho. You can thank me later if you’d like 🥰

This place is very efficient. I’ve been here 5 times for workers comp and it is incredible how fast and efficient they are for how large the facilities are. My appointment was at 11:15, I had a 15 minutes drive and there was a short line to checkout. I was home before noon

Great experience with Dr Kavanaugh and his team. I had a total hip replacement and the surgery went very well without any complications. Tim even responded to my text message questions I had early in my recovery. The surgery center that they used (Banner) was also great. I am very happy. Note that some of the other reviews I read before surgery seemed mixed but I can't imagine why. I would recommend Dr Kavanaugh to my family and friends.
