My experience at Village medical is always wonderful. The staff is respectful, friendly, and helpful. My latest experience was one of the best, in that my doctor was kind, friendly, and helpful. The doctor made some changes and added some additional medication that I have already been able to see how helpful they are. Village medical is the best. Donna Timmons

This review is strictly a warning to EXISTING patients that happened to have changed insurance (employer's decision). I was/am overdue for my yearly physical exam/bloodwork. My employer changed insurance carriers over the new year.. I called Village Medical with my new insurance info to make sure they were in network, mid-December. I spoke to an actual person who took my information, waited for them to confirm I was good to go. I called back 3 weeks ago to make my appointment. I asked again, to make sure they had my information and my insurance was accepted. They said, yes. No problem. We scheduled 3 weeks later due to my work schedule, as I have to fast prior to bloodwork... 3 days ago, I checked in online for my appointment scheduled for 8am this morning. That check in process included a picture of my insurance card. Front and back. 3 DAYS AGO... I received a call 35 minutes before my appointment to tell me they DID NOT TAKE MY INSURANCE... I am in Dental.. any patient with insurance on our schedule, new or otherwise, has their insurance checked and verified at least 3 days prior to their appointment. That's so NO ONE'S TIME IS WASTED. We call them right away, with any discrepancy... if Village Medical called me 3 days ago when I pre-checked in to "expedite my check in", I wouldn't have left my team members high and dry to start the day... All of that being said, I did truly like the office and caring staff. They were always helpful with swift answers to my concerns. Always sensitive to my unreasonable fear of needles.
