This is absolutely the world best Hospital. Thanks so much for the care love and treatment. I will for ever be thankful. I have lives in Africa, Asia and Europe. I have never received this level of treatment and care. They’re absolutely the best. Best wishes. Ransom Ambendu.

I recently discharged from Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where I was admitted to the 7th North Floor for cardiac care unit. Overall, I was discharged as a very satisfied patient, I especially want to commend three of my nurses, Giselle, Greg and Adam. All of them are level-headed, competent, and very approachable. I truly appreciated their exceptional service during my stay. On the contrary, I found my experience with the nurse-in-charge, Shubjeet, to be disappointing. it appeared that her performance and professional behavior do not align with the responsibilities expected of her job title. Thank you for the high quality of medical care provided by UCLA Medical.

Getting a star is a privilege so that one star is something that room should not even get. I went back again thinking that they might change. I was wrong. Nurses that have no sense of compassion. She poked me 3 times to put an iv and got frustrated when I said no for the 4th and asked her to get someone else to do an iv. Then left her trash next to me. I was left without any attention in the room from 3:30 till 10:00 and they came wanting to move me to the hallway because they needed the room. Put me with shingles and immune compromised on the hallway near other patients. What topped that is having a security guard that shared what I had and talked about me to others and violating my Hippa. Really. And after waiting 7 hours without attention and I got frustrated the nurse Siri came inject me with something that made me loose all of my senses. She did it while I was standing, did it fast without letting me know what it is, confirming patient information, I almost fainted to the ground. I am not sure it’s something they do to all patients who get frustrated with their system or it was just me. I asked to be discharged right after. I couldn’t trust to be in the facility anymore.

I would like to recognize Brandon, Sonia, and Reza at ucla emergency for the care and support they provided me. Brandon was very supportive, helpful, caring, and took the time to listen to my concerns. Sonia and Reza were also respectful, professional, and compassionate throughout my care. After going through a very difficult medical experience, I am grateful to have a team that treated me with kindness, respect, and understanding. Being heard and cared for made a meaningful difference. Thank you, Brandon, Sonia, and Reza, for your dedication and for helping me feel supported during a challenging time. Thank u so much yall make life easier

I had open heart surgery here with Dr. Shemin's team. I can't say enough good things about the staff and facility. Everyone was professional, compassionate and responsive. My family stayed at the nearby Luskin Center hotel and really liked that as well. Overall as good experience as you could hope for.

Two stars because I was screaming in pain (“Oh god, make it stop!”) for about 2 hours before I received medical attention. I understand that they were probably quite busy, hence my delay in treatment, but it just didn’t make me very happy to hear two nurses say “I could really go for a matcha right now” between my piercing wails of agony. The workers are all very patient and have lovely demeanors + great bedside manner. Would not recommend, I’d advise you to go to a different emergency room, unless you were so mangled that you were being flown in from a helicopter. Maybe then your case would be urgent enough for them to care.

Ucla has been the best in care for us. They have great bedside manners excellent doctors, nurses, and overall services. I would highly recommend this hospital to everyone. Truly a great experience. Will continue to visit for all medical needs. By the way we live two hours away and will make the drive for services. Love this place.

The team at UCLA Westwood ER did a stellar job in taking care of a loved one who was experiencing a mental health crisis. Nurse Winston was attentive and responsive to our questions. Dr. Zwirner was very kind and took our concerns seriously. He connected with us and helped my family member feel seen. Our encounter with Dr. Jennifer Tu was quite remarkable and prompted this review. She treated my family member as her own. She was patient, respectful in her questioning and yet persisted in leaning in to get the necessary information which I believe allowed her to see beyond what many would have dismissed as a condition not warranted for the ER/acute care. As a fellow physician, I was inspired as I watched Dr. Tu draw my loved one from his shell and provide a safe environment for him to share his story. We are grateful for the warmth of the security team at the front entrance, the attendants at intake and finally Officer Sandy who led us up to the floor for admission. We will forever be grateful for tonight! May God bless you all!
