I was able to make an on-line appointment in advance. Walk in’s are also welcomed. The pleasantry of the staff, promptness and cleanliness of the facility during my visit was quite impressive. My experience with Dr. Garcia was a good one. She was very understanding and specific, and run all of the sufficient tests needed for my diagnosis. My electronic prescriptions were accurate and ready by the time I left this facility and traveled to my pharmacy for pick up.

I came in with an appointment at 3:00 pm this was scheduled an hour prior online. I come in and she said “do you have an appointment “ I said yes she goes “so check in” I go alright no problem…I stay standing because I didn’t wanna be too close to other people since I was exposed to strep throat and most of the seats were taken. She then goes “do you need something” I’m like no no I’m just standing she goes “so sit down” I waited half an hour within since I came in the front desk lady disappeared for 15-30 minutes in the back 3 other walk in came in and she again didn’t care to even help them. 3 Elderly people were walk in not knowing how to use the kiosk to sign so they just put their names. An elderly man couldn’t use the hot water he didn’t know how and all she said was “that’s hot water you can get it”
When I addressed her about my wait time she said that she put th other two walk ins in the room they waited longer and they were already registered while I had not been. I’ve been here since 3:00pm she left for 15-20 minutes and I said to her well I would have been registered if you didn’t leave sh goes “well I’m a RT I’m not even suppose to be doing thi job I have other stuff to do also” I’m like okay that’s fine but again I just wanted to be in a room not stuck outside waiting longer while 2 other walk ins take priority. She goes “well I apologize but again I didn’t register you so you have to wait”
I’m not sure why this lady felt the need to be mean and rude but if you hate your job leave. You’re dealing with sick people not just regular healthy people. Anyways she told me there’s not manager or supervisor here so I couldn’t talk to anyone else.
My experience from start to finish was excellent.The nurse saw me as soon as I arrived and the dr soon after.Both were very personable and explained everything to me in great detail. Very happy with how everything went and I highly recommend this facility.
My father was discharged from Northwell LIJ on Friday with a persistent cough. Sleepless nights due to coughing. On Sunday with a visit to this urgent care my 88.5 year old father is feeling better. He is calm, quiet snd catching up on days of lost sleep. Thank you to the wonderful staff I met this morning! Truly grateful!
The wait at the clinic is not long at all. I was seen in a timely manner and the doctor and his assistant are nice and knowledgeable. The clinic is clean
I usually come here for quick matters and service has consistently been smooth. I’m not sure what’s going on today but I called three times and it rings once before the line is disconnected when I haven’t spoken to anyone. Yesterday I was placed on hold for 30 minutes.
Billing NEVER goes correctly. The problem is that my husband and I have gone to this location a few times a year for several years and we have not once had a smooth billing experience. There is something administratively wrong here and it always causes a headache when we get the bill, and each time they tell us they had never received our insurance information so the bill was not processed through insurance. It will happen multiple times in the same year when our insurance doesn’t even change. One phone call sometimes does not even resolve the issue. I can’t see how the breakdown is attributable to one person because it’s been happening for years. There are very kind and thorough medical providers at this location, but we’re not going to go here anymore because it’s just not worth the paperwork headache.
Would not recommend going here unless you want to bankrupt yourself. Even if you have insurance, the amount the clinic charges you for a brief visit is insane. I understand I have a deductible but a simple 5 min visit with absolutely no procedures, blood work or imaging should not cost 200+.
