This place is fantastic! Came here today and received the best possible care from start to finish. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by Kunga and Faeeiza at the front desk. They were so kind and patient, and they really took the time to help me figure out an insurance issue I had been stressing about. Nyima, the nurse, was quick, efficient, and made the whole process smooth and comfortable. Dr. Turner was incredibly knowledgeable, easygoing, and took the time to clearly explain everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. Overall, I felt genuinely cared for here. The entire team was professional, warm, and attentive. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone!
Please read this to avoid making the same mistake I did: this is the absolute worst urgent care facility in NYC.
The front desk receptionist lacks both basic problem-solving abilities and the communication skills required for a patient-facing role. If you are that miserable in your job, you shouldn't be working in healthcare. Furthermore, the waiting room was completely disgusting and chaotic.
However, the worst part of the experience was the sheer incompetence of the manager, appropriately named Karen. She seemingly ignores established insurance policies, deciding what to charge based on her own arbitrary reasoning. It is a disgrace to consider this establishment a healthcare facility.
The staff’s competence is comparable to toddlers playing "hospital" in a backyard. When I asked the manager to explain why their billing rate is 150% higher than any other urgent care in the city, she couldn't provide a logical answer. Her only response was, “It’s our policy,” which felt entirely disingenuous and discriminatory.
If you value your time, your health, and your wallet, avoid this disgrace of an establishment
I had an amazing experience at this Urgent Care! Maddie and the doctor was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. The office is clean, modern, and well-organized. I truly felt cared for and confident in the treatment I received. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist!
33Y.O male, Came here on 12/7 around 9am for an ear ache - no insurance - 2nd patient in the waiting area. Waited close to an hour to get seen. After i was called in, Dr. WILLIAM TURNER took another 20 min just to see me & diagnose the issue. Was very uneducated in telling me what had happened. He told that he prescribed an antibiotic - to which i asked, is this for an infection? Hes like "oo yeah its an infection" as if he forgot to let me know that.
Im here again 3 days later for my check up.
Literally the only patient here at 1130am & its taken another hr just to get checked.
Just for him to refer me to another doctor.
Theres a reason why this urgent care is always empty, its cause they are terrible here. Dont waste your time coming in here, you will deeply regret it.
This place is incredibly disorganized and their billing practices are unacceptable.
I was incorrectly told by the receptionist that my insurance was out-of-network, so I was charged out-of-pocket. That information was completely wrong—they ARE in-network. This is a basic mistake that should never happen, and it directly cost me money.
What’s worse is that it has now been over two months, and they still have not refunded me. I have called at least five times, and every single time I get the same runaround—no answers, no accountability, and no resolution. The billing department either doesn’t know what they’re doing or simply doesn’t care.
At this point, it feels less like a mistake and more like negligence. There is absolutely no excuse for holding onto a patient’s money for this long due to their own error.
If you go here, double-check everything yourself and do not trust what you’re told about insurance. And if they overcharge you, be prepared to spend weeks (or months) chasing your own money.
I would not return here and would strongly caution others against using this urgent care based on how poorly this situation has been handled.
On Friday, I had terrible pain and my PCP’s medical office was closing over the weekend. I ran to this place and doctor gave me clear guidance and gave me the medicine I needed immediately. It’s smooth, professional, fast. I’m glad to have this place nearby.
Nathalie was super sweet in taking my vitals & asking all the right questions to figure out what was going on with me. She was super attentive & very fast paced. She made me feel super cared for. After the doctor had seen me she also made sure to ask if i needed a doctors note or a follow up appointment. She also made sure to confirm all my information & make any updates if needed. This made me feel super cared & i would 100% go back if all nurses are like this. It was a good first experience & she took time to go over the medication that was being prescribed. The place is also super clean & they’re really fast.
Exceptionally quick check in and incredibly warm staff. Special shoutouts to Patrice and Zahra--these two superstars got my all necessary blood work done with one draw! I have deep veins so this absolutely never happens. Here's the proof! Off this visit alone, wish I could rate this urgent care center higher than 5 stars.
