A few months ago, I was referred to Kresloff by my neurologist just to ensure my vision was okay due to some ongoing issues. Everyone at Kresloff was incredibly kind, and I felt comfortable with each individial I interacted with. Dr. Arnold viewed my eyes and noticed I had some floaters, and just to be safe, referred me to Mid Atlantic Retina. There, I was told that I had holes forming in my retina, and had the floaters not been spotted, I would have started going blind in 6-12 months. I seriously cannot thank Dr. Arnold and everyone at Kresloff enough for being so nice, and for not brushing anything by. This place is wonderful!!!

An excellent experience. Their people are kind and professional. I was especially impressed with Velme. She was upbeat, funny and very thorough. She made me feel so very comfortable. They have state-of-the-art equipment and know how to use it. I highly recommend this practice, and I'm one whom is not easily impressed. SIX STARS!!

Dr. Arnold is great. The staff is excellent. Love everything about the practice. Am glad they now offer the eye drops that reverse the iris dilation, but it costs an extra $20. If their cost allows they should reduce that.

The medical portion of the business is great. The staff are friendly and communicate well for scheduling and even call when someone cancels to fill up the schedule. The doctor was informative and friendly, spends adequate time to fine tune my prescription. The retail portion of the office is clean and well placed selections with lots of glasses to choose from. However the follow up service on the retail needs improvement. I ordered glasses and was told about 2.5weeks until they arrive. After a month i stopped by assuming they just forgot to call me when the glasses came in. But the glasses were nowhere to be found, after a few minutes the staff told me that there was a problem with one of the lenses and they have to call the lab to get an update, i asked why it took so long and was told because my lens were complicated and it takes time, which is BS! I have had glasses for over 20years and never had any issues with my lens being complicated and takes more time. I asked when i would know more about the eta and was told they would tell be by 11am once the lab gets back. I said if its too long i’d like to cancel and was given an off the cuff reply of “complain to your insurance because its their lab”. Uhhh NO! I paid my money to you and you should have notified me with issues and resolve them not for me to complain to my insurance! Such a Crazy response from a professional place.

Saw Dr. Richard Kresloff on May 26. In all the year have been going to Kresloff Eye Associates this was the first time I ever had the privilege of meeting Dr. Richard. He was amazingly thorough and explained everything to me with the greatest detail and answered all my questions always with patience and understanding. After visiting with Richard now I know why Michael has become the Doctor he is. They both show great compassion and kindness and caring for their patients. Also their office staff is always courteous and very friendly. I have glaucoma an I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my treatment.

The appointment was easy to make without too much of a wait to be seen. The staff were kind and considerate. I felt that the ophthalmic technician moved a little too quickly for my taste but this wasn’t a bad experience. The ophthalmologist was thorough and answered all my questions and was very helpful with options to correct my vision. The optician was amazing! She was very patient, listened to my needs and provided excellent recommendations for glasses. She was not pushy and took her time helping me. I would recommend family and friends to make an appointment.

Be careful with provider network verification at this clinic." Before scheduling my appointment at Kresloff & Young Eye Associates, I verified through the Humana directory that this facility was IN-NETWORK. However, on the day of my visit, the clinic assigned me to a provider (Dr. Sara Arnold) who was OUT-OF-NETWORK with my insurance, without informing me beforehand. As a result, my insurance claim was initially denied, and I received an incorrect out-of-network bill for $230. Additionally, the medically necessary Ptosis evaluation referred by my PCP was incorrectly coded as a routine vision exam. I had to spend my own time gathering screenshots of the provider directory and insurance portal to submit a formal dispute email. Only after I formally pointed out these administrative errors did the billing department correct the claim to an in-network status, adjusting the balance to the legitimate yearly deductible amount ($181.47). While the billing department eventually corrected their mistake, the process was incredibly stressful and time-consuming. It is the clinic's responsibility to ensure patients are matched with an in-network doctor. I highly recommend double-checking the network status of the specific doctor assigned to you before your visit to avoid unexpected billing issues

My daughter and I had our 1st visit with this practice the other day. Little wait time and everyone was pleasant. The areas are are clean. Any questions I had were answered. When we went to pick our glasses out the lady asked us what styles and colors we liked and brought multiple frames over for us to try. A good visit.
