Labor and delivery experience was excellent. From triage to discharge, each person we encountered was helpful, kind, professional, and efficient in providing support and medical care.
The security team and front desk immediately attended to me and helped me into a wheelchair while I was in active labor. Triage team quickly assessed and admitted and moved me to L&D.
OB team, all of whom I have not met previously (my primary OB was not the attending the night I went into labor), introduced themselves and built trust. Everyone appeared to work together seamlessly; the environment helped me remain calm and move through my contractions.
My L&D nurse was an ABSOLUTE ANGEL. She advocated for me, made sure i had time and space to think through the choices presented by the doctors, explained medical procedures, translated what the doctors were saying, etc.
Doctors, including student doctors, with the supervision of the attending Dr. Heddens, were all great. Efficient, personable, communicative, etc. There was a moment when I was in between contractions for pushing. I looked around the room and felt at ease, empowered, and just rallying with a great group of humans.
My recovery period in L&D overlapped with a shift change. It was brief, but the new shift took care of me through some complications just fine.
I stayed one night in Mommy & baby. It sounded like I had the choice to ask for another night, but I opted out. Nurses were great, especially the one at discharge. She made it super super easy and set me up for success for taking care of myself at home. Thank you, Lauren!
Overall, fantastic experience for what is a very vulnerable moment!
I gave birth at Jefferson Health and had a very good experience. The doctors and nurses were kind, attentive, and professional. They checked on me often, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable and supported. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well. I’m very thankful to the staff at Jefferson Health for their care and support during such an important moment ❤️
I have nothing but praises and thanks for the nurses, doctors and the rest of the hospital staff that care of me during my stay 5 stars to them. I couldn't wait to go home to the rest and a good night's sleep for these reasons -1 the bathroom needed cleaning and repairs (see pictures) for me to feel safe, my night nurse cleaned it herself and reported it. A better pairing of patients with similar care needs much improvement. While I was able to get out of bed and take care of myself without assistance. I was paired with bed bound roommates twice (the first one was hell on earth) their medical needs out weight mine. You will see how the looked when I arrived and repairs made upon my complaints,
I had a fistula surgery done last week...I must say everything went well and Dr Caul was very professional, caring, and informative about the details of the surgery. Hat's off to him and the entire team. All nurses and Anesthesia personnel was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about their work. I would like to say "thank you". to all
Had a recent surgery through Einstein tower building and the nurses before the surgery were very nice and understanding and post surgery the nurse Linda or maybe Nancy was her name sorry the anthesthia was still very much in effect but she helped me very much and was super nice and friendly I had a very positive experience and I couldn't have been happier with my procedure. All in all Einstein Jefferson is a great hospital to me.
Tower bldg 8th floor awesome staff. Nurse staff is caring and compassionate. Kudos murse Katina.Julia and Iryna. Made me as comfortable as possible. Very efficient and proficient in all aspects. They were my angels. Even the assistants were awesome especially Imani. During one of my severe coughing spells She went out her way, above and beyond & personally, even as her shift was ending, to personally walk down to pharmacy and retrieve meds that were slow coming, just so i wouldn't suffer waiting for delivery. I so appreciated that. Doctors work diligently trying to get to the bottom of my health issues and finding the best treatment. Im am confident that I'll be going home soon and feeling better.
During labor I had to advocate firmly because they wanted to do an unnecessary procedure that I wasn’t comfortable with. Ultimately it wasn’t done and my baby was safely delivered thanks to my labor & delivery nurse Liz knowing just what to do. My stay there was wonderful overall. Nurse Kim was my favorite, an absolute rockstar and so kind she felt like family. All of the other nurses were great except the one night nurse. She kept pushing for me to feed exclusively with formula although I was clear about my breastfeeding goals. I can only imagine how discouraging that can be for a first time mom. I’m glad I knew better than to listen. The labor & delivery triage team was great both times I went (pregnant and actual labor). They didn’t make me feel silly for coming in even though I wasn’t in labor the way some places will behave like you’re wasting their time.
During my recent ER visit, except for the long waiting period for test results, my overall experience in care was good. Patience is very much needed when waiting for test results. I ended up being kept to get the treatment I needed. Overall quality of my care was professional and friendly. ALL the caregivers (drs, nurses, techs and in-between) were patient, tolerant, listened and answered all my questions. They actually took care of me.
My negative comment is on the dietary food… bland not seasoned, some food undercooked, or not hot enough. But I wasn’t there for the food.
