I would give ZERO stars if it was possible. The staff was nice and all but they did not do anything to relief my pain. Just gave me antibiotics ear drops for my ear infection without any checking. Just took a look with the lil camera and that’s it. Fast forward. I get my ear drops put it and I’m good for abt 18 hours before it worsened. I woke up from sleep with much worse pain than I went to sleep with. I couldn’t breathe. I ended up going to another ER where they did perfect treatment. Gave me pain killer shots. Prescribed me tablets and not even an hour later I’m relived of my pain because of the pain killer shots. The doctor was amazing and I didn’t even have to talk much he just literally explained what the problem was just by touching my ears. The other doctor at HCA Houston ER wasn’t even trying to help me. She just took a look and said my drums are clear there’s no blockage where as there was blockage and it was causing me a lot of pain. I just couldn’t help but write this review. It’s crazy how some places be money hungry. Do not go here. I repeat. Save ur money. Do not go here. Even if it’s ur insurance paying. This ER isn’t worth it. By far the worst experience I ever had at an ER

From the moment I arrived, everyone treated me with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine care.
I had a great experience with Dr Steven Braun. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a calm, reassuring bedside manner. What stood out most was his ability to explain my situation clearly and help me understand things that had previously been confusing to me I felt heard respected and genuinely cared for during my visit.
Marie drew my blood was gentle and reassuring. The entire staff made me feel comfortable doing a stressful time.
But Jackie Oguin truly stood out to me. Jackie is one of the most caring nurses I've encountered in any hospital or emergency care settings. You could just genuinely feel that she cares about her patients. She checked on me often, spoke to me with compassion, and made sure i was comfortable, and even the way she wrapped the blankets around me make me feel cared for and safe. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail meant so much to me during my visit.
Thank you to the entire team for providing such outstanding care. I'm incredibly grateful for the compassion I received here.

Chelsea, We will for now call you C.C. that's for (Confident Chelsea) drew my blood she was gentle and reassuring, and was able to start my I.V the 1st time with minimal pain. You go girl im normally a 4 or 5 sticks to start an I.V. or draw blood.

First and foremost the staff is super nice especially whom attended me all throughout, Ms. Jackie O... it was my first time at this ER. And let me tell you Ms. Jsckie O is a very nice nurse very sweet and kind. I mean who doesn't want to be treated kindly, she did awesome. i felt less anxious to be honest. Best staff and best treatment I've ever had. Thank you Ms. Jackie O.
The doctor was thorough and respectful. Unfortunately, one nurse made the experience uncomfortable. After reviewing my test results, his attitude became dismissive and I felt unfairly judged.
Medical professionals should approach patients without assumptions and provide care free of bias.
I brought my mother here for an allergy emergency, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care she received. Dr. Freeborn and Nurse Jackie O were incredible. They acted quickly, kept us informed, and made a very stressful situation much easier to handle. Highly recommend this team for their professionalism and compassion.
I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by the treatment I received during my visit to this hospital. Seeking medical care can already be an overwhelming and stressful experience, and patients come to a hospital expecting compassion, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
From the moment I entered the facility, I was met with an extremely rude and hostile attitude. Rather than being greeted with kindness or basic courtesy, I was spoken to in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. What was even more shocking was being cursed at by a staff member. There is absolutely no circumstance in which a patient should be subjected to verbal abuse, especially in a healthcare setting.
As patients, we place our trust in healthcare professionals during some of the most vulnerable moments of our lives. Many individuals who walk through hospital doors are already dealing with fear, pain, anxiety, or uncertainty regarding their health. Being treated with hostility instead of empathy only adds unnecessary emotional distress to an already difficult situation.
I understand that healthcare workers face demanding and stressful environments, and I sincerely appreciate those who dedicate themselves to caring for others. However, stress and busy conditions should never be used as an excuse to disrespect or verbally mistreat patients. Professionalism, compassion, and effective communication are essential in healthcare and should be demonstrated to every person who enters the facility.
My experience left me feeling humiliated, disrespected, and completely unheard. No patient should ever leave a hospital feeling worse because of the way they were treated by staff. I hope hospital leadership takes this matter seriously, investigates the incident, and provides the necessary training and accountability to ensure that all patients are treated with the dignity, respect, and compassion they deserve.
I would strongly encourage management to address these concerns so that no other patient has to endure a similar experience.
My experience at HCA was great everyone was very helpful and very informative. The nurses and the doctors was very nice and made it very comfortable for me. I went there because I was in a lot of pain and doctor Min Wang made sure I knew what was causing the pain and made sure I received what I needed yo fix the pain. Thank you for all your hard work. I will definitely recommend this Er to family and friends l.
