So I went to see a doctor at this place named Minkley and I had this injury in my middle back where I slipped on the ice and fell and hit a rock and apparently it loosened ligaments from my ribs that Connect to my spine, and I told this doctor that I had a ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm so what does he do? He gives me these exercises to do laying on my stomach and my chest area and it absolutely raised my blood pressure. So I went to see my other doctor and they told me absolutely not. You don’t do those kind of exercises because what you’ll end up doing is expanding your aneurysm and the thing is, I would have to continue doing these exercise for the rest of my life because once I stop the muscles lose their strength again and your back in the same boat. So like the next day after my appointment, I used their app to text message the doctor and let him know . well it’s been like three weeks and he finally got back to me. I think it’s because they read another Google review that I did about them and he tells me that it’s perfectly safe to be doing these exercises now he’s telling me I can do them standing up with resistant cable so I guess I need to go to a gym so I can find this equipment against my Drs. opinion who told me definitely do not do them. I went to see someone else and they told me there was a PRP theory therapy for an injury that’s 7 years old because the body is already stopped trying to heal so it’s called platelet rich plasma therapy and it has like 80 to 90% success rate, but this guy never told me about this and he continues to tell me the exercises are good and my blood pressure shouldn’t go above 160 like that’s good for an aneurysm. That’s the worst thing in the world right there to get your blood pressure up the 160 and then he gave me a diagnosis and said if my aneurysm is that bad I probably need intervention. This is a back doctor telling me about my heart. He also stated that I had an upper back injury, which is not where it was. It was basically in the middle of my back .So I cannot recommend this place at all.

We have seen Dr Ralhan for both my daughter’s back fracture and now her hip issue—he has been great both times. Knowledgeable, caring, and reassuring. He diagnosed her back fracture spot-on before imaging confirmed it. Additionally, she needed a back brace for recovery, and we struggled to find one that fit. He arranged for us to see their brace specialist in the office and explained that she was a petite pediatric patient and exactly what he was looking for. Being proactive made the brace experience that much better.

Dr Wilhelm, Sydney, Rome and Zack, and the whole team at Desert Spine, were amazing! I needed relief fast and they got me in, evaluated, and the procedure I needed done within 2 days! Dr Wilhelm explained everything, listened, and we explored options going forward. I will continue to work with him for my cervical spine issues.

This was my first time visiting the office. And Dr Brent Page is absolutely wonderful. He spoke to me with the understanding of my condition and laid out all of his concerns. And at the end of the visit he gave me a few choices. I would recommend him and this facility.

Dr. Pannozzo is listed on a government website for clinical trials as participating in the Mesoblast study. After much run around, I was told they are not participating in the study. I suggested they look into getting that information removed and the agent laughed… I wouldn’t feel confident going here for care anyways with staff this incompetent.

Dr. Ralhan has performed several EMG tests on me over the course of a year and a half. He is professional and thorough every time. In a field where bedside manners have a tendency of being left at the door, that is not the case with Dr Ralhan. I would highly recommend Desert Spine & Sports Physicians.

Dr. Susan Sorosky is the best…period! Beyond knowledgeable, beyond compassionate and went to great lengths to alleviate my pain. I am a satisfied and happy patient. If I could give 10 stars, I would!
