The Orland Park office is fantastic. When you walk in the receptionists have on colorful T-shirts with an eyeball, How fun. Apparently Dr L. is a great surgeon. That's what we were told by other physicians. Maybe. We'll never know. I think this practice is now corporate owned, and it shows. This doctor literally spent a few minutes with us and was never interested in answering our questions. It was obvious he was more set on getting to the next patient as fast as he could. The office is grungy and the staff are wearing t-shirts. We were just told to ask all our questions to the patient "navigator," a non-medical individual that essentially memorized the surgery script but has little knowledge regarding any medical questions. The surgeon LITERALLY got up and left in the middle of the of our meeting while we were talking. We found a different doc. He too just wanted to move on, but at least he (begrudgingly?) provided us the time. This place is more interested in volume (throughput) than the physician-patient relationship or actual patient care. If you want to see someone other than a patient "navigator" go somewhere else. This place is ONLY interested in running the factory and making money.
