Exceptional care from FNP Tammy Mathis.
I had a great experience visiting CareNow Urgent Care - Leon Valley. The facility is incredibly clean and organized. I utilized their online check-in, which kept my wait time to an absolute minimum. A huge shoutout to FNP Tammy Mathis—she was incredibly compassionate, thorough, and highly professional. She took the time to listen to my concerns and clearly explained my treatment plan. Highly recommend this clinic and provider if you need quick, high-quality medical care in San Antonio.
I was seen on 4/14 by FNP Tammy Mathis and LVN LaTasha Thomas, and they were both great. The gentleman at the front desk who checked me in was also very nice and welcoming. They have a wonderful team. I’ve been seen here before, and their office is always clean and well organized. I truly appreciate the excellent care and professionalism. I would definitely recommend this urgent care facility.
We don't need an emergency care clinic all the time, but when you do it's nice to have one like this place. Super friendly staff. Very informative and easy to talk to and ask questions with. I hope it's a long time before I have to see them again LOL. But if I do or if I know somebody that does need them I will definitely send them there.
I'd just about lost my faith in having good Healthcare. I knew i was sick, but walgreens tests didn't find anything. All tests negative. I didn't need an er at a hospital, just something. I randomly chose carenow urgent care. Best decision ever. Every person on staff was so kind and professional. I received a proper diagnosis with a treatment plan. I've learned not to trust the corner walgreens with Healthcare, they just fill prescriptions. Thank you carenow.
My husband just took my daughter because she was having really bad stomach pains. She was in there for 5 minutes and all they did was tell her to go to the E.R., they did not treat her nor did they give her any kind of medication. So my husband asked for our $50 co-pay back and they said no. He told them we did not pay $50 for you to tell us to go elsewhere, my husband said he would not be going back, Then the rude guy at the desk that had answered the phone, told him okay, good, don't come back. UNBELIEVABLE! All they did was take our money!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOO FRICKEN UPSET!!!!! (This was not an appt. it was a walk-in) I will be reporting this to the higher ups!!!
Went there because it is Methodist and I have great insurance. Daughter had a stomach ache and wanted to go to er. Ni told her wait because we does not really prioritize stomach aches go to the clinic. First patient of day and paid $50 copay so doctors could tell her nothing I can do but call an er for you to expect you. No prescription because we didn't treat you. Askedif we were refused any treatment do we still have to pay copay and office said yes. Just started running off reasons why they couldn't reset her . When I told them I would never return they said that's fine. This is the office off 410 and bandera in front by the security service. Don't ever use this clinic.
I don’t like going in fo see the doctor but I have to say that the NP Tamela Mathis is the best. She is genuinely a caring person which is what this world needs. The reason someone picks a profession is because it is their passion and you can tell that Tamela loves helping people like if they were part of her family which is something very important in this field of work. We cannot pick a profession solely for the paycheck. You have to have heart and she definitely did. With that being said this clinic was outstanding, courteous staff, quick to be seen and a compassionate Provider. She would not let me leave until I had an appointment to see a Primary and she helped me find a primary now that is heart. Thank you Tamela! You are definitely one of a kind. ♥️
My experience was fabulous. The check in process was easy. The staff was amazing. It is a nice clean and calm atmosphere. The doctor listened and was very friendly.
