After taking my family for years I’m completely disappointed on how this facility handled my issue. I took my granddaughter there for a swollen eye last week and had new insurance, it turned out that this facility did not accept my new coverage, no problem I paid cash of $180. The provider evaluated my GD and said “that her eye looked a little puffy but that he wasn’t going to prescribe her anything because it looked like she was getting better.” The very next day she woke up with her eye 3 times the size as the day before and I called and was told that they could not prescribe anything because the original provider was not in and she would have to be re-evaluated…I said cool no problem but given that I had just been there the day before, I requested a follow up or no charge since I had just paid cash the day before. I was told no, I escalated and first I was told there was no supervisor, I was then left on hold for 30mins and then eventually told that the person in charge was at another location and he would call me back … no one ever called me back and I ended up taking her somewhere else and got the script and her eye was better that afternoon and now she’s completely recovered. Terrible customer service from the office manager the front desk person was extremely helpful but limited in her scope.
I really enjoyed my visit here. I put off an injured finger for some time. Oksana was so sweet behind the desk. Jackie and Caitlin were courteous and attentive. Mel summarized my visit and sent me off with all the information I needed. Overall, exactly what I could have hoped for in an urgent care visit that I was delaying. For reference this was around Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. If I have an emergency in the future, I will visit this location and hope to get the same consideration as I did today.
I do NOT recommend this facility. For starters, the male doctor on staff at the time of my visit (5/24/2025) was incredibly rude and dismissive. Answered his phone in the middle of my visit, cut me off while I was speaking and invalidated my symptoms. Secondly, prior to even getting in line and paying for my service, I asked the woman at the front desk if strep & covid testing was covered under my visit/ included in the $180 visit fee. she said "YES". I get a bill for $967 a few weeks later for said testing. Absolutely ridiculous, scammers. I call and talk to the billing company and they tell me to talk to the clinic, so I call the clinic and they tell me to talk to billing. No one has an answer and no one is removing this balance from my account. Mind you: I PAID THE $180 DAY OF MY VISIT!
This is had to be one of the best experience I have had at an urgent care. The wait was little over 15 min due to busy clinic but the treatment from the (RODRIGUEZ, MANUEL, NP) was top notch. He took the time to listen and explain every question and prescribed all the medication . front desk and MA also really good, overall wonderful experience 👍

From the moment I walked in, the staff was very professional and welcoming. They accepted me as a walk-in without any issues, and I didn’t have to wait long to be brought back. I was treated very well throughout my visit and felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. The nurse who gave me my shot was amazing, I didn’t feel a thing! I truly left feeling happy with the care I received. I highly recommend this urgent care.
Amazing people. 1st something that you rarely see with an urgent care is a very welcoming attitude and a very understanding front desk that prioritize your convenience, today when I went in for strep throat I received all of that even at the front desk. She was amazing! Nurse Kat and Dr. Guzman took amazing care of me. I would 100% recommend them. I felt very heard, understood, and validated.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (DOT Medical Exam)
Pulled up here after calling around yesterday trying to find a place that could do my DOT medical card renewal. First two spots I called? Not helpful at all. Felt like I was getting brushed off.
Called this CareNow location off De Zavala and it was a whole different story. The lady on the phone actually took a second, checked the schedule and told me exactly when a DOT examiner would be available. Same deal for today. No runaround, no confusion.
Walked in, got seen fast and the whole process was smooth. Staff was professional, straight to the point and knew what they were doing. In and out without stress.
Honestly this is how urgent care should run. They handled business the right way.
Staff provided exceptional service. It’s very difficult to find health care professionals that value their job and enjoy serving their community but this place has just that. I also appreciated how well the facility is managed; despite it being a busy morning, it wasn’t chaotic.
