I went in yesterday 7/7/26 for a possible diagnosis of mastitis. It was after 4pm I didn’t think my ob/gyn could get me in but I should have called them. I was seen by a NP (I think that’s what he was). My signs and symptoms all pointed towards mastitis. Except I wasn’t running a fever and by breast was not red yet. However I felt like I had the flu - chills, aches and pains and then of course the very painful breast. He essentially sent me home and to keep doing comfort measures. Wake up this morning and full blown mastitis. Red and very angry breast. I’m a nurse and maybe I should have said that. I would have been happier with my experience had he prescribed me with antibiotics if it got worse and it did. I could have already been on them for 24 hours. Instead I wasted a $148 copay just to wait for 40 minutes to be seen and then sent home with just comfort measures. Do better sir. And when a patient presents with symptoms and she actually looks sick (aka like the flu) listen and learn. I wish I could get my $150 back but I know that won’t happen. I was seen today by my ob/gyn and started antibiotics asap. I would not recommend this urgent care.
Five Stars no doubt about it. Everyone on their staff is friendly and professional. They treated me like a guess not a patient from the. minute I walked in. Not to mention the speed of service was great. In and out in less than 40 mins. I recommend this location to anyone.
Very professional & caring. Johnathan & Kyle, the manager took very good care of me. Did not get the other guys name who took vitals & exrays...he was very caring also. Highly recommend this urgent care facility.
I have been here several times over the past few years and overall, this is my go-to for when I or a family member need to be seen quickly. Their online scheduler is a great tool to ensure you get seen when you arrive without waiting too long. I deducted a star because the entry glass door advertises the location is “Physician Staffed” but the providers are usually nurse practitioners or advanced practice providers, not physicians (MDs or DOs). There is a huge difference between them in terms of training and education. On one occasion, I had a severe allergic reaction to the prescribed medication from the NP on duty at this location that I would argue would not have happened if it were an MD with a lot more in depth training who treated me. I appreciated that they allowed me to return without charge, get reassessed, and receive a different medication after the episode. The clinical support staff are typically friendly and straightforward.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience today was upsetting enough that I feel obligated to share it.
The staff member who took me back never introduced himself, never explained his role, and barely communicated throughout the entire interaction. He bumped into me while leaving the room and didn’t acknowledge it. While taking my vitals, he never explained what he was doing or what any of the readings were.
After taking my blood pressure, he looked at the computer and said, “You can go ahead and take that off.” When I politely asked if that was something he was supposed to do, he sighed and replied, “Yeah, I can take it off if you’d like.”
He later sat staring at the computer and simply said, “Sup.” I didn’t even realize he was speaking to me because he never looked at me. Throughout the interaction, he avoided eye contact and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by being there.
What concerned me even more was hearing another patient’s name, date of birth, symptoms, and referral information being discussed loudly enough that I could hear it from my room while other patients were in the waiting area.
The experience became so uncomfortable that I reported it to the front desk and was visibly upset. Another staff member took over and was much more professional. An X-ray was recommended, but I ultimately declined because I was informed the same employee was the only X-ray technician available, and I no longer felt comfortable continuing my care through him.
I came in feeling physically sick and left feeling emotionally distressed, still without the diagnostic testing I needed. Patients deserve professionalism, communication, and basic compassion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. :(
First off, I got in fast, saw someone fast, But it was not a Doctor but a practicing nurse. Don't really think it was a true Nurse/Practitioner. But any way, I had bad congestion and coughing, sinus drainage for a week+. I was had prescriptions called in for sinus spray, acetaminophen, cough syrup, and found ALL of it was just over the counter stuff I already had at home.. Will be seeing my Doctor when available. I went here because it was cheaper/closer/faster, but got what I paid for. With a broken leg, I mite go back, but not anything else.
I went today and had an appointment at 4. I was in and out in 30 minutes. The 2 male nurses that helped were the best. I will be coming here fo anything I need in the future. Shoutout to Jose as well he eased my anxiety with 2 sentences.
Everyone was amazing. Registered on their iPad, text message to do my registration, took a out 5 minutes. My name was called in less that 5 minutes of filling out my phone paperwork. I went in to get my weight & blood pressure. The guy was nice and pleasant. He guided me to the room to wait for the dr.y dr came in discussed everything from from my blood pressure to what could of caused my pain. We discussed the medication I was already taking and what she could prescribe that would work well with my current meds. This place is a 10 outta 10. I was in and out within 30 minutes with great personal service. Noth8ng felt rush which is a 10 in my book. Thank you AFC TEAM, for helping me feel better.
