I've had an excellent experience at TLC Dental during my multiple visits over the last few months. The reception/admin team is very welcoming and helpful. Dr Samah Khan and her assistant (apologies, did not catch the name!) have made me feel very comfortable and well informed. I have had multiple appointments and procedures booked with Dr Khan and every time she has been incredibly calm, professional, and kind. I'm very happy that I chose TLC Dental and will be coming back to them as long as I live in the area!
TLC dental has great staff who are very professional and organised. Not to mention, very friendly and welcoming. My experience over the last few years has been nothing short of excellent. Notably, the hygienist, Evalina is always flawless and does an outstanding job for deep clean on teeth. I am always left satisfied with my treatment from her. Thank you.
Very disappointing experience. I paid £65 to book an appointment, but had to cancel in advance. They ignored my emails, cancelled my appointment, and never refunded my money. Extremely poor customer service. Be very careful before paying any upfront fees.
Hands down the best dental practice in the area. Excellent service, state-of-the-art facilities, and a wonderful team that makes the atmosphere pleasant. Everything from the check-in to the actual treatment was seamless. Highly recommended!
Usman Sarwar Faiz is very rude , unfriendly and works very ruff. Tlc dental told me teeth cleaning cost 85 pounds. Usman cleaned half of my teeths and stopped. Said 30 min are gone and i need to book another apoointment of 40 min for the rest to be done. When i booked the appointment no one mention that it cost 85 pounds for 30 min only. They trick you to book an appointment and ask for half of money infront. I am not going to come back there never. Very disappointed. Wouldnt recomended tlc dental to any self respected person.
The clinical cleaning itself was fine, but the communication afterward was very disappointing.
After my appointment, the hygienist (Faiz) spoke to me in a way that felt belittling and unnecessarily aggressive. I was asked if I “liked having plaque” in my mouth and was told other things that felt like fear-mongering rather than professional guidance, to the point where I had to ask him if this was something I would actually be fixable.
There is a respectful way to advise patients on improving their oral hygiene. Unfortunately, this was not it. I left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable rather than supported.
When I politely raised this concern before leaving, the hygienist doubled down and described this as his way of motivating patients, rather than listening to feedback about how it made me feel.
I hope the practice takes patient communication seriously, because this experience overshadowed what should have been a routine visit.
Dr Kellie Jones is one of the most amazing dentists I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, super informative and such a calm and wonderful disposition. She provided elevated care and took the time to answer my every question with care and attention. Her knowledge on Invisalign was incredible, If you want quality dental care Dr Kellie is the person to go to! Will be recommending to my friends and family.
I’ve been at TLC dental for many years now, I can honestly say it is an excellent dental practice. I’ve moved outside of London but I still drive in as I always have the best experience. The receptionists are lovely and i love that they always call to remind you of your appointment. My dentist is Dr Anisah who is nothing short of spectacular at her job! She is honest and sincere - always recommending the best procedures. She explains things so clearly. I’ve just finished my invisalign treatment with her and she was great throughout. Would 100% recommend this dental practice for anyone in the area or even outside of Plaistow.
