A wonderful experience. My consultant Mr Jyoti Saksena was so professional and reassuring answering all my questions. The operation went very smoothly. The Cavell was absolutely amazing with everything. All the staff could not do anything else to make my stay more comfortable.
My physio Chris Andrea has been so supportive and motivational with my rehabilitation.
I am absolutely delighted with my experience.
I had a very positive experience throughout my treatment and surgery. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff was kind, professional, and caring. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout the entire process.
The care I received was outstanding, and I am truly grateful to the surgeons, nurses, and all the staff for their compassion, dedication, and professionalism. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience much easier. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of excellent care.
I recently had knee surgery at Cavell Hospital and felt genuinely cared for from start to finish. My consultant, Mr Jyoti Saksena, was calm, professional, and reassuring, taking the time to explain everything clearly and putting me completely at ease.
A huge thank you to my night nurse Deepa, whose kindness and attentiveness made a real difference during my stay, especially overnight. Ioanna, my physiotherapist, was encouraging and supportive, helping me feel more confident with each step of my recovery. I’m also very grateful to the pharmacists Rashmi and Drashti for clearly explaining my medications before I went home.Rashmi, thank you for the Ginger, lemon and honey tea which helped my dry mouth and throat.
I’d also like to mention the catering staff, who were lovely, the food was great, and their recommendations were genuinely helpful and appreciated.
The hospital was clean, calm, and well organised, and the overall level of care exceeded my expectations. I’m truly thankful to everyone involved and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cavell Hospital.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to Doctor Atkinson for the outstanding care, professionalism, and compassion he showed throughout my knee replacement journey. From the very beginning, Doctor Atkinson made me feel reassured, informed, and confident that I was in the best possible hands. His skill, dedication, and attention to detail during my operation were truly exceptional, and I am incredibly thankful for the excellent outcome and progress I am making in my recovery.
I would also like to highly commend all of the staff involved in my care. Every member of the team showed kindness, patience, respect, and genuine compassion during my stay. The level of support, encouragement, and professionalism I received made a difficult experience so much easier and more comforting.

I recently had surgery for a frozen shoulder at The Cavell Hospital and wanted to share what a positive experience I had.
My consultant, Mr Assiotis, was outstanding. He explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely reassured before the procedure. His professionalism and calm manner gave me great confidence that I was in very good hands.
The team at The Cavell Hospital were also fantastic. Every member of staff I met was kind, caring, and attentive, which made a big difference on the day of my surgery. The hospital itself was clean, well organised, and created a calm and comfortable environment.
I’m very grateful to Mr Assiotis and the whole team for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend them to anyone needing treatment.
I was seen by Dr Fakokunde who was excellent. Clear advice and he explained the procedures he has engaged after the surgery. I stayed at the Cavell Hospital and could not have asked for a better stay. I was looked after by lovely members of staff, professional hardworking and caring. They made sure I was comfortable while recovering. I was so nervous going through my open myomectomy but for those worrying about it, please be assured that you will be looked after. My pain was tackled very well by the medication and it is now been a week and I am feeling more like myself walking and decided to come off the medication. If you have been advised to go through the surgery please try not to worry so much as the surgeon and members of staff will make sure you are well looked after. Thank you again to Dr Fakokunde and members of staff the the cavell for looking after me. Sending you lots of love.
I spent two days, in the Cavell hospital, for a knee replacement. I felt nervous but from the early diagnosis getting discharged I was treated like royalty. The administration staff, nurses, consultants, cleaning and catering staff were second to none. I was kept fully informed at all times and made to feel comfortable and welcome. The cleanliness of the rooms and the wonderful catering staff played a huge part in my stay and recovery. The staff were available 24/7 and nothing was too much trouble, always doing everything with a smile to keep me comfortable. My operation was successful and the consultant would visit daily to keep me updated. Everything was so amazing and I truly didn't want to go home. Thanks to everyone at the Cavell you are all amazing and I am extremely grateful.
It was an interesting experience for me to have a total knee replacement at Cavell and Kings Oak. Many years ago as an orthopaedic surgeon I carried many such operations there. The whole process was trouble free and carried out with understanding and efficiency, from the lovely Tea Lady, to the inpatient and outpatient time spent at the hospital. Then to cap it all I have had such help and excellent advice from Chris the Physio. I have no hesitation in continuing to advise people to go to those hospitals for treatment.
