St George’s Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in London, providing a wide range of specialist services across many departments. It has an A&E department and offers excellent care for patients with different medical needs. There are a couple of car parks on site. Although they are not very large, they are generally adequate, and there is also additional parking at the rear of the hospital. Overall, the hospital is well organised, and the doctors, nurses, and staff do a fantastic job caring for patients. Highly recommended.

I spent over 14 hours in St George's Hospital A&E in a single day over two separate visits. The waiting times were completely unacceptable, and the lack of communication made the experience even more frustrating. Spending so many hours waiting for assessment, investigations and results is simply not acceptable, especially when you have returned because your symptoms have come back. I fully appreciate that NHS staff work under immense pressure, but the system is clearly failing patients. Better communication and more efficient management of waiting times are urgently needed. Based on my experience, I would not choose this A&E again if I had another option.

I visited the Emergency Department yesterday and would like to sincerely thank Sam, Alvin, and Dr. Fatima for their kindness and care. Sam was the first person I met, and he made me feel comfortable straight away with his polite and caring manner. Despite how busy the department was, all three treated everyone with compassion, patience, and respect. They are truly wonderful people and a credit to the hospital. Their kindness made a difficult time much easier for me. May Almighty bless them with continued success and happiness. Ameen. Thank you all for your outstanding care. ❤️

I would like to sincerely thank the staff at St George’s Hospital for their excellent care and professionalism. From the receptionist to the nurse and doctor, everyone was extremely helpful, kind, and supportive throughout my visit. The receptionist was welcoming and understanding, the nurse young lady called Sianaid was extremely nice ,caring and attentive, and the doctor(unfortunately I can’t remember her name)took the time to listen and provide professional advice. I truly appreciate the hard work and dedication of the whole team. Thank you for making a stressful situation much easier and for treating patients with compassion and respect.

The triage nurse on duty tonight Des, was not compassionate or professional. When I asked about the check-in system, which was not working, he responded in a rude and dismissive manner. Rather than offering assistance or explaining the situation, he showed a lack of empathy, care, and basic respect. As a fellow frontline nurse, I found this behaviour particularly disappointing. Patients and their families are often anxious and vulnerable when attending the emergency department, and they deserve to be treated with courtesy and compassion. The interaction fell well below the standard of professionalism I would expect from a healthcare professional.

My Daughter was admitted onto Vernon Ward, St.James Wing last week, and as her Mother I am totally mortified and disgusted. My Daughter has Anaphylaxis to Peanuts, and has a rare LTP allergy. This has been written down all in her medical notes, she had a red name band on her arm. To cut a long story short, when it came to giving my Daughter her lunch, my Daughter complained of a tingly tongue,we asked the 'caterer' if it contained nuts/peanuts. She went and checked the packaging and said yes,it may contain traces of peanuts....PANIC!!!! My Daughter had her Epipen with her,and thankfully she didn't go into anaphylaxis. What made it worse, was that the 'caterer' was very blasé about it, and shrugged her shoulders, and said she didn't know. Her allergy was written on ALL her medical notes, and when my Daughter got admitted onto the ward, she had to fill in a patient information form, and all this was put on their. Please anyone being admitted into this hospital, be extremely careful and vigilant, their incompetence is REAL!!! Their last inspection, take time to read. I wasn't sure about posting this, but I had to, hopefully nobody else has to encounter such incompetence. This could of ended up fatal for my Daughter 🥹

A hospital you can truly trust. On two different occasions, the team took wonderful care of my little one and, very recently, my mother as well. Dr Stacey and Dr Kashif are truly exceptional doctors who genuinely care about their patients and always approach their work with kindness and a positive, can-do attitude. At every step, we felt reassured and listened to. Our concerns were taken seriously, guidance was clear, and there was a constant effort to ensure we were moving in the right direction. Above all, the respectful and compassionate care made a real difference, helping to ease our worries and making the healing process so much easier.

Dear St George's Team, I want to express my huge gratitude to the Hand Unit and Plastic Surgery Department. Yesterday, on the 11th of June, I had a nailbed repair surgery on my middle finger. The care I received was absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Isaac and Raylyn for their professionalism, kindness, and incredible support during a very stressful time. They are real professionals! Thank you so much for saving my finger. Best regards, Mykola Kuryk DOB: 22/05/1990
