I always used to use Specsavers in the Cornbow Shopping Ctr, but the place was too manic and didnt receive good customer care from staff. So i decided to use the shop in Blackheath. What a difference, the staff were happy, pleasant people, but very proffessional at the same time and the optician was very thorough. My new glasses were ready within a week. We have been to various Specsaver’s branches over the years. Blackheath was new for our neurodiverse family. The negatives was how busy it was - but we were part of the problem as we were early. The team were great and my daughter was seen and dealt with efficiently. My daughter’s eyesight test was very good, with enough time taken between questions for her to not be overwhelmed by question after question. I don’t know if they read the patient info form if filled in about her being autistic, but our experience felt that it was accounted for. So 5 stars there!! As for the prescription, this is the first pair of glasses she has owned where she feels the prescription meets her needs, as a result she is wearing them daily, she is letting us know if she forgets to take them to school so someone can drop them off.
