I have been visiting this Dentist since I moved to Sheffield in 2006.
Since then I have had 3 Dentists, which is pretty good in my opinion.
Overall I have been very pleased with the service I have had.
I am an NHS patient and have managed all my dental work this way, keeping it affordable.
The surgery has grown during my time, the reception has always been in the hallway just before the waiting room.
I moved from the ground floor treatment room to the 1st floor about 5 years ago. The stairs are pretty steep as it is a converted victorian terrace.
The treatment room has air conditioning so feels very comfortable even in extreme heat.
My Dentist Tom is brilliant, a gentle confident Dentist who has provided me excellent service during my time.
100% recommended.
Excellent dental surgery. Had a broken filling and the reception staff were very helpful in reviewing my notes and arranging an emergency appointment. I was about to go on holiday for a week and the dental surgeon effected a repair to the damaged filling. So grateful to all concerned. A friendly and thoroughly professional team!
Such a positive experience from beginning to end. I went in for composite bonding and Dr Tom did a beautiful job - so much care and skill and artistry. I absolutely love how my front teeth look now. I felt really well cared for and listened to throughout the whole process, by Tom and the whole team. I would highly recommend this dental surgery.
Since becoming a patient at School Road dentist in 2025, I have nothing but good things to say about the practice! The reception staff are lovely, and Dr Sunit Vasir and all the dental nurses have been wonderful with my entire family and put us at ease through numerous treatments. Would recommend whole heartedly going private with this team if you are waiting for NHS treatment as we were.
I've been treated by dentists at School Road since I was about 10 years old (I'm now 63). The current people working there are very friendly and seem to be very proficient. I went last week to find that my usual dentist had left. I saw David instead, and he was great. Sorted me out in no time. I'm very pleased.
I came for a dental cleaning and repair to two broken teeth. The Hygienist , Hannah, was excellent. Everything was clearly explained with constant updates as we went along Both her and her assistant were very friendly, warm and welcoming. The whole session was pleasant and I left feeling well cared for.
Tom and the team at School Rd have been excellent helping me with a number of tooth issues and poor attendance record in the first half of my life and exacerbated by medications and health issues. Very pleased with the Invisaline tooth alignment that should have been done decades ago if it existed. Highly recommend
Attended my regular check up on Thursday 19th June. Sunit was really good, had annual X-ray taken and was shown the last one and pleased to say there was no difference!! Very happy with School Road Dental Surgery.
