I've been with this practice for almost 5 years, and the dentists have always been great. However, the reception and admin staff are horrendous. I recently had the worst experience which is why I will never come back.
I signed up as an NHS patient years ago, and have frequently attended for check ups. Last time I was here, they tried to charge me almost £200 on top of what I was supposed to, and it turned out that they had registered me as a private customer about 3 years ago, without ever letting me know about it, which luckily haven't been too much of an issue for me financially as I haven't had any issues, but I can only imagine the costs if I did! When I tried to find out information about why they wanted to charge me all this extra money, they were all so so shady. Multiple excuses such as "the dentist is new" and that they had to chat to a manager, but after several weeks I still hadn't heard anything back. They haven't apologies or given me any explanation as to what is going in. In the end, I managed to get them to confirm that I indeed did not owe them anymore money, but the whole experience has been so shady and weird.
They just try to make money through putting people up as private customers without their knowledge. Should be illegal. At one point over the phone when I told them that it is insane to do this and wondering whether there was a way to change back to being an NHS customer, the lady said that they don;t accept NHS customers at the moment, and that she recommends staying on as a private customer because "you will be prioritised over NHS patients always and get much better treatments". That is a wild comment to make, but shows the true colours of this practice it seems.
Avoid at all costs.
Aniruddho is my regular hygienist and he’s consistently been lovely and very professional. He always explains everything and genuinely cares for his patients. Highly recommend booking with him!
My wife Leanne went there last week the receptionist transferred her from Brockley easily , after three children her teeth hve suffered she was so nervous about going and scared but came home happy said the dentist was so understanding and put her at ease about her filling . So now I’m booking her hygienist there and Monday she’s no longer scared to go back for her treatment. Thank u she deserves good care after pregnancies it’s time so thank u
Very welcoming and friendly dentist. Professional and felt safe in her dental care. Fantastic hygienist too! Makes the dreaded experience not too bad at all with his care, precision, and warmth welcome into the room.
"I was very disappointed with the reception staff. I came to book an appointment, and they told me to do it through the website. I went online, paid, and booked my appointment. When I arrived, the doctor was kind, professional, and treated me well.
However, after I left the consultation, my experience with the reception was extremely poor. They did not provide clear or accurate information, and they charged me a lot of extra money. Whenever I asked questions, they could not give me a convincing or proper answer. In the end, I paid 54 pounds extra.
But the price kept increasing, while the service and information provided were very poor.
It felt like they only cared about taking money and did not care about people or customer service at all."
Michelle is an excellent dentist. She's friendly, professional, and consistently maintains a clean and welcoming environment. She explains procedures clearly, which helps put patients at ease, and her work is always of a high standard. Overall, a very positive experience.
I set up an Invisalign request with Laura and have decided to go ahead with the plan. She is a lovely lady who explained the plan and costs in detail. Communication is easy, transparent and I feel totally comfortable with her at appointments. I have had braces fitted, approximately 4 weeks after initial assessment. Future appointments made to monitor the progress and I’m excited to see the results at the end of the plan
Great dental practice. Hygienically clean, receptionist good, Dentists brilliant. Nice dental nurse. The dentist did so many things for me in my first visit. I can’t tell you how impressed and appreciative I am, of all that was done. I have never experienced so many things being done on the first occasion/ visit. They really listened to me. I felt I was treated very well!
