I had a wonderful experience during my baby daughter’s tongue-tie appointment, thanks to the incredible team at Happy Kids Chelsea.
Patricia at reception was warm, welcoming, and highly efficient from the moment we arrived. She made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free, which immediately put me at ease as a parent.
Agnes, the nurse, was equally fantastic—kind, attentive, and very supportive throughout the visit. She helped keep my daughter calm and reassured me every step of the way, which truly made a difference.
Dr Suraj was outstanding. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain the procedure, answering all my questions with care and reassurance. The treatment itself was carried out gently and professionally, and I felt completely confident that my daughter was in safe hands.
I’m incredibly grateful for the level of care and compassion we received. I would highly recommend this team to any parent seeking support with tongue-tie treatment.

Sara took me around the dental practice and made the whole experience very pleasant. She was very professional while also being warm and friendly. She kindly introduced me to other members of staff, who were all very welcoming and approachable.The practice itself is spotless, modern, and equipped with the latest technology, which gave me a lot of confidence in the care provided. What really stood out was how exciting and engaging the environment is for children. Overall, it was a very positive experience! Sara and the practice clearly puts a lot of care into making patients feel comfortable and valued.
My sons have been at this practice for four years and originally chose them because I trusted their professional judgement. Sadly, my experience today has completely destroyed that trust.
My son is currently undergoing Invisalign treatment. At a previous appointment, we were told there was a "shadow" on one of his teeth and were advised to book a further examination. Today, we were charged £165 for what was effectively a one minute visual inspection with no scan, no X-rays, no cleaning and no treatment. We had been told this appointment would take around 15 minutes. When I questioned why such a brief examination cost £165, I was told it was because we had arrived late.
This explanation raises even more concerns. If one minute was genuinely enough for the dentist to make a proper clinical assessment, why was a 15 minute appointment necessary in the first place? If one minute was not enough, then did my son actually receive the thorough examination we were paying for? My concern is not simply the cost, it is whether my child received an appropriate and necessary assessment.
To make matters worse, I had already paid a £50 deposit, yet when I came to pay the balance, this was not taken into account. I had to go back and query it myself before it was acknowledged. I was told their system was slow, but I should never have had to remind the practice about money I had already paid.
This is also not an isolated incident. My other son, who has very healthy teeth and has not required any treatment, was also advised to return for the same £165 examinations every three months. That has left me questioning whether these expensive follow up appointments are always clinically necessary or whether they are being recommended far more often than they should be.
After four years with this practice, I no longer feel that my children's best interests are the priority. Instead, I have been left with the impression that expensive additional appointments are being recommended without sufficient justification or transparency.
I cannot recommend this practice to other families. Parents deserve clear explanations, transparent pricing and confidence that any treatment or examination recommended is genuinely necessary.
As a new parent, I was really stressed because my newborn baby was struggling to latch properly during feeding. After getting a recommendation from another parent who had seen Dr Suraj for her baby, I decided to visit the Tongue Tie Team in Chelsea.
From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel supported and reassured. Patricia, the PA, was incredibly helpful. She took the time to explain everything beforehand, answered all my questions, and really helped put me at ease during what was a very stressful time for me as a new parent.
I had a consultation and was able to have the treatment done on the same day, which made the whole process much easier and less overwhelming. Dr Suraj was professional and clearly very experienced. The procedure went very smoothly, and the nurse was also wonderful - supportive, caring, and attentive throughout the visit.
Overall, I had a very positive experience and felt truly cared for by the entire team. I’m very grateful for their help and would highly recommend the Tongue Tie Team in Chelsea to any parents who are having feeding difficulties with their newborn.
I visited Happy Kids Dental in Chelsea today for the first time. Immediatly l realized that l haven't seen anything like that before.
On four floors everything was spotless and designed to make especially kids enjoying the time they have to spend in the premises.
A special mention for Sara D'Imporzano who kindly show me all around the different wards..l appreciate her huge professionality and kindness.

I am so thankful to Dr Theocharidou and the rest of the team at Happy Kids Dental for making my daughter so comfortable during her appt to get a cavity filled. She had such a wonderful, calming and pain free experience. The narrative and explanations that were provided to her were just enough to keep her actively involved in the process and prevent worry — she doesn’t even know she had a cavity filled! It’s a far cry from what I went through as a child and it really validated my decision to bring her to this practice. My daughter is already looking forward to her hygiene appt in June, and hopefully with the education from the dentist her new found excitement for flossing, we can prevent this from ever happening again. Don’t even hesitate to use this practice! The kid-centric focus is incredible and first rate!
I recently had a dental appointment with Dr. Suraj and honestly couldn’t recommend him more highly. From the moment I sat down, he made me feel completely at ease, he’s incredibly calm, patient, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that actually makes you feel comfortable.
You can tell he really cares about his patients and takes a lot of pride in his work. He’s thorough, gentle, and clearly very skilled at what he does. I’m usually quite anxious about dental appointments, but this was such a different experience.
