A huge thank you to Roisin Barr at the physio ward, I could not fault the lady, knowledgeable, professional, friendly & helpful - a great experience! The ward was spotless which was incredible! Keep up the good work team 👏👏👏

I had a great experience in the hospital. Yes, I had waited from 07:30 until 15:30 to have my surgery but other than that, I can say that I felt like I am in a 5star hotel. Extremely helful, supportive and caring staff-always there for you. They are true heroes.

I recently spent several days at Charing Cross Hospital for an inpatient chemotherapy treatment (6 South Ward) and I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care I received. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for during one of the most difficult times of my life. The nurses, healthcare assistants, and medical team were outstanding—professional, compassionate, and endlessly patient. They explained every step of my treatment clearly, checked on me constantly, and made sure I was comfortable both physically and emotionally. Their kindness turned a very frightening experience into one where I felt protected and in the best possible hands. The ward was clean, well-organised, and calm, and despite the busy environment, the staff always had time for a smile, reassurance, or a quick chat to ease my anxiety. Special appreciation to the oncology team for their empathy, expertise, and dedication—they truly made a difference. I am deeply grateful for the level of care I received and the humanity shown by everyone working there. Charing Cross Hospital is an example of what exceptional NHS care looks like, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been treated by such an amazing team. Thank you to all the staff who looked after me—you are incredible. 💛

We had an excellent experience at Charing Cross Hospital, and we would especially like to thank Dr Hugh Millington for his outstanding care. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly attentive, kind and professional. He made us feel truly welcomed and supported, which meant so much to us during a very difficult time. Even with the language barrier, as we are Brazilian permanent residents in the UK, he was very patient, communicated clearly and made sure we felt understood at all times. My husband is currently being treated for multiple strokes, and now we were faced with a new health issue. Despite the situation, Dr Millington handled everything with great competence and reassurance. He took the time to explain everything clearly, treated us with respect and showed genuine compassion. Thanks to him, we felt safe and confident in the care provided by the NHS. It was truly a wonderful experience to be under the care of such a dedicated and skilled doctor. We are very grateful. Thank you very much. Karleny and Jean Nogués

These 5 stars are for the nurses that attended to my dad a few weeks ago. Nikita and Lilley on 9 North ward are absolutely fantastic members of staff. They were attentive not only to the patient but to is as a family. I cannot thank them enough for what they did and it will never be forgotten. I can't thank the enough

worst a&e i’ve ever been to i had a mental health emergency, i overdosed internationally and arrived in an ambulance. i was treated like pure shit dragged around physically, thrown back into my bed and wouldn’t even get an explanation why. i wasn’t fed for hours on end. i expressed im still feeling extremely suicidal and unsafe and that if i leave the hospital i will end my life. mental health nurse who should have her license revoked discharged me and said she can’t help me any further but to relay me to the home crisis team. when this incident happened and i was in kingston hospital(best one i’ve been to) i was taken care of very politely, professionally, delicately. definitely no physical contact!!!!!! i was sent to a psychiatric ward for treatment and because it was an option i felt safe with. i have bpd so i have impulsive rather than planned attempts. don’t know what’s gonna happen in the next few hours. thanks a lot to the staff who have zero empathy towards mental health patients. WORST HOSPITAL AND STAFF EVER!!!!!!! i hope you feel the fear i felt in your care.

As soon as you enter the hospital, there is a horrible smell because the toilets are right by the entrance and not cleaned regularly enough or properly. Costa coffee charges astronomical fees and the pharmacy is shocking! Unprofessional boy on front desk, zero customer service skills, one pharmacist on duty and 35 minutes wait for medicines. Tiny car park. Just depressing hospital.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A heartfelt thank you to every incredible NHS staff at Chelsea and Charing Cross Hospitals I recently had to be admitted to hospital with a severe throat infection, and from the moment I walked into Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to my transfer and stay at Charing Cross Hospital, the care I received was nothing short of exceptional. Every single member of staff — from the kind and calm receptionists, to the attentive nurses, skilled doctors, porters, and the two amazing paramedics who transported me — treated me with genuine compassion, professionalism, and dignity. I felt seen, heard, and cared for every step of the way. The NHS is a cornerstone of life in the UK, and this experience has only deepened my appreciation for it. The dedication, teamwork, and humanity shown by these brilliant individuals was flawless. The NHS is more than a service — it’s a lifeline, and it must be protected at all costs. I am beyond grateful. Thank you all.
