Visited A And E Sunday morning.was kindly greeted by the receptionist immediately Seen the triage nurse within 5 mins.and then within 20minutes an XRay was taken. afterwards Vicky,a beautiful kind hearted caring and busy nurse took over my case.A couple of ambulances came in which held me up and hour or so. But overall a pleasant experience, well done to all.

I want this positive review to go towards the a+e/ward catering staff. We had a long nervous wait with a very sick child in A+E . One lady of the catering crew had seen us there, anxious and exhausted for so long. She went completely out of her way to ensure we had at least a cup of tea and a sandwich several times during our visit. We had rushed to get our child there and in the panic forgot to bring any wallet and had no means to buy food. I know for a fact she bought the food for us out of her own pocket as was different to the ward assigned food and shop packaged. I will return with a gift for that lady who kept our spirts up during what was a stressful few days.

Within the last month I have been here twice and both times have been dreadful, I was in constant pain begging to be seen and when I was seen , I was put in a room and waited more hours til I had to beg for pain relief or I wanted to go home . Eventually was seen. Last night again I was in excruciating pain as I have stomach troubles and awaiting diagnosis and appointments so there’s nothing else for me to do but go to A&E and I felt completely helpless. I did not receive any compassion, empathy and good care at all and I am someone that can comment on these traits as I am going into my final year as a student nurse and this isn’t how I care for my patients at all. There was 29 people in front of me yesterday which I understand everyone needs to be seen but I truly felt like I was dying yet I went home and self medicated with two paracetamols as the nurse in triage told me it would be a long night of waiting which I was barely able to sit down without pain. I was very scared for my health last night , I was in pain, I’ve cried so much and I just won’t be back to this A&E again , I’ll travel hours and hours for anywhere else.

I went there for medical appointments and for once in the emergency department. They were all caring and professional and tried their best to help me. From nurses, secretary assistants...to doctors the people inside this hospital is really great.

Disgusting attitude from the A&E. I rang in to organise treatment for a large infected 2cmx2cm abcess on my groin area. I was told by my doctor to go straight into A&E. I also have a daughter with special needs, I'm her only carer. The staff didn't care, I was told I was going to be waiting 14hrs minimum, with my autistic daughter, never mind the sepsis that might set in, that never even came into question. I asked her can they not activate the emergency respite care while i go in for surgery, "no we dont do that here", not trying to help, just we dont do that here??? I told her it was an emergency, she didn't care, no understanding nothing. I got off the phone to Naas rang blancherstown they told me to come in immediately bring my daughter and they will find a quite room. 100% understanding, helpful, and nice. They said they will do whatever they can to help as my health is important. Naas needs proper training!! I would give 0 stars if I could

I visited the A&E at Naas General Hospital and had a very positive experience. Dr Tooba was kind, professional, and really took the time to listen and reassure me. All of the staff were friendly, efficient, and caring, even in a busy environment. I’m very grateful for the support I received—thank you all.

I attended the A&E clinic on a Sunday morning. By lunch time i was still sitting there . Then around 2 ish I was taken in . A doctor came and was very pleasant and chatty. I had a huge blister on my foot and very painful. He didn't know what it was ?? and said he would do a blood test . He was not confident in taking the blood test and im a very nervous person with needles. He didn't offer to get someone else or have a xray. Gave a prescription and left. Non the wiser after a long wait and I was flying home the next day. The pharmacy pointed out the prescription was for another lady. My daughter contacted the hospital and explained. Not a good experience 😕. The doctor did phone me to apologise later that evening.

I recently was an in patient at Naas General Hospital for 8 nights. I was brought by ambulance by two very caring lady personal after a very bad fall. As I’m not from the area I did not have any experience of the hospital. I spent almost 24 hours in a & e & my experience was good during the day I saw 2 lovely doctors & had necessary tests quickly. However at night I was in severe pain & found it impossible to get pain relief due to short staffing & over worked nurses. Eventually after many requests the meds were given. I was moved to Liffey ward the following morning where I was made very comfortable. I would like to thank the doctors nurses care staff physio catering staff who all looked after me so well during my time there. The ward was spotless & food exceptionally good. Overall a very good experience from Naas hospital during these difficult times for hse staff.
