I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Aušra for her exceptional care and support throughout my treatment. She has always listened carefully, offered helpful advice, and genuinely cared about my wellbeing.
Dr. Aušra suggested that I see a pain specialist. At first, I was hesitant, but I decided that I had nothing to lose, as my medications were no longer providing relief. I am especially thankful that, even after working hours, she took the time to call me after reviewing my MRI results and arranged an appointment with a pain specialist.
I am so glad I attended that appointment. The specialist was highly professional, thorough, and compassionate. I received a nerve block injection, and within just a few hours I could already feel a significant improvement. The difference was remarkable.
Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone suffering from ongoing pain not to delay seeking specialist advice. If your doctor recommends a pain specialist consultation or a nerve block injection, it is worth considering.
One piece of advice I would share is to allow yourself adequate recovery time after the injection. If possible, take at least a week off work to give your body the best chance to heal. I made the mistake of returning to work after only a few days, and in hindsight, I believe a longer recovery period would have been beneficial.
