I’m going 9 years at the same place and every time is a surprise
Things change, prices etc
The people at the reception are rude and it’s incredible and disgraceful how in this country everything is about money! Everything has to pass through the GP so 75 euros just for a stupid prescription or for a simple blood test that you have to pay a part
This system is just to rip off money of a person who just want to get a routine check, but I guess in this country it’s not a normal thing to do
I would never gonna go again and I would never recommend this medical centre
My experience as an out-of-town visitor dealing with an injury in a new place: I flew into Dublin from the USA yesterday. A couple of hours after arriving, I fell and most likely broke my ankle. I figured out our global travel insurance coverage last night and called Grafton right when they opened this morning.
The kind receptionist made a same-day appointment for me, which was wonderful, but they also warned me the clinic did not have an x-ray machine (many doctors in Utah, general or specialty have x-ray machines so that surprised me). She let me know the doctor, who was happy to see me and give me his opinion, would likely refer me to the hospital, which saved me so many hours of waiting and not knowing.
I was able to cancel the appointment after getting settled in the hospital emergency department, which was also wonderful (many doctors in Utah charge $25 to $50 for cancelling an appointment within 24 hours).
I really appreciated her advice and willingness to help in any way. Other medical offices I know in the US would not inform me of something like this ahead of time, caring more for their income than a stranger’s needs. Thank you!!!
honestly very good practice and patient care. it hard to find a good practice but this has very good nurses and doctors and even receptionist. Just a blessing to found a good medical practice and their not like other medical practices in the past where they rip people off and it money chain. They genuinely have solutions & listen to patients health issues . Five stars
An absolutely fantastic clinic. Dr Perdue, Dr Redmond and the entire front of house team are always just so kind, conscientious, professional and accommodating. I highly recommend this practice.
Been a patient of this surgery for a few years as well as my partner and 3 children. Doctors are amazing and helpful. My problem is how we are spoken to on the phone by a certain receptionist. I get people have a bad day but taking it out on people who keep the surgery running by attending isn't on. When you call for an appointment your requesting help not asking for an earful of cheekiness and bad mannerisms. And not the 1st time it's happened. A real shift behind that front desk is needed asap
Always very pleasant. I had an issue that wasn't A&E severity but couldn't really wait and they fit me in the next day both times it came up. The doctors were very compassionate and care about people and the field. The staff is efficient and kind despite being quite busy. Also - location is nice and convenient.
I ran into this clinic as I desperately wanted to see any doctor in Dublin before I flew back to London due to my ear ache. The doctor I met was a young female doctor who was really attentive to my conditions and gave me really helpful advices that I could easily follow and that worked very well in my situation. I even did not have to pay as I am a UK resident and showed my UK driver's license of which they took a photocopy.
Personally, the visit was quite a pleasant one for me. I did not have any issue at all with this clinic before, during or after my visit. Yes - you must call them and book your appointment beforehand. Yes - you must check in at the reception counter when you arrive - well, to be more precise, you just need to 'talk' to them (saying 'hello') and let them know that you have an appointment (saying your name and your booking time). Just be patient and do not miss the chance to talk to one of the receptionists - as they seem to have been extremely busy all the time, literally running around from taking a call to talking to another patient!!!
I think I was lucky enough as I had one of my Irish colleagues who recommended and instructed me how to behave. I also read both positive and negative comments here in Google Review, which was also helpful.
Highly recommended even for a temporary visitor like me!
I had an appointment early, this afternoon with Dr Jenny, she is an absolute, brilliant doctor, so professional, beautiful manner, felt totally comfortable, pleasure to meet her, thank you so much,
